About me: I am your atypical college student. I have been working to pay my way through school for the better part of a decade (life can be so cruel!). But, lucky for me, I have a boyfriend who loves me beyond reason and is currently helping me get through school (by letting me quit my job) so I can finish faster! Oh – to be loved! And so life is good again. And all this spare time is translating into creativity – hence the need to write! NEW NOTE: I am soooo sorry I haven’t updated in so long! I’m in my senior year at college – but :fingers crossed: I will graduate at the end of May this year, and have more time for my stories, which I have been working on off and on, but hope to get new chapters out at the end of May!

Favorite Books: The Harry Potter Series – that’s a given, Anything by Jane Austen or Dorothy Parker, Sophie Kinsella’s books (Shopaholic series and Can You Keep a Secret)

Favorite Movies: Can I even list a few? I am a movie-aholic! Hmmm – thinking – nearly every Disney or Pixar movie; The Blues Brothers, Where the Heart is, any Muppet Movie, The Mummy & The Mummy Returns, All the Harry Potter flicks of course – I practically have those memorized line for line by now I bet; Signs – it was scary mostly because you weren’t entire sure what you were afraid of until nearly the end, and then all the pieces fell into place; What Lies Beneath – I love true suspense movies, you really don’t see enough of that these days.

(Harry) “Say it old man,” Harry gritted out, standing, fists clenched at his sides. Even Dumbledore’s pathetic expression was not going to calm him.

(Dumbledore) “Only the winner will be allowed to marry you.”

“You’re telling me that I get to be the jackpot prize in some Wizarding game show. Then this complete stranger who could be anybody from Voldemort to Fudge to you,” he jabbed a finger at the bearded man, “gets to knock me up and do whatever else they please and I get no say what-so-ever. Did I miss anything…Headmaster?”

My philosophy on fanfiction: There’s enough angst in the world, I don’t really need to add more in fanfiction (but I confess I will occasionally write light angst). But, I do appreciate well written angst – only if it’s resolved in the end – I hate sad endings.

The man's demeanour was so blunt and self-assured it bordered on rude. The medi-wizard rather reminded Harry of Snape, except the potions master totally ignored the border and invaded the country in force, and with extreme prejudice.

Harry/Ginny (Until HBP he never showed the slightest interest in her, and even though it's canon now, I still feel it was forced - sorry to H/G shippers)

Ron/Hermione (It would be fun for a while but it wouldn’t last – she needs an equal partner and he needs someone who won’t outshine him – sorry to R/Hr shippers)

Draco/Hermione (WHAT!) Ron/any member of his family (Gross!)

Harry/Luna (He needs more stability than she can provide – although I think they are excellent friends)

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

They landed with a thud on the wet pitch. Harry tried to throw Draco off him, but the taller boy held strong, so Harry only really managed to roll over on top of him and fist his hand angrily in Draco’s hair.

Draco yowled, for he felt it was the proper thing to do, and also, it bloody hurt.

They were clearly attempting to fight, but were failing miserably. This could not be helped, being English and all.

I am currently working on several stories that have been spinning in my head, and hope to post soon. Included will be continuations of a couple of one-shots by other authors (with their permission of course), a Severitus fic, and a new twist on the ‘Marauders-read-Harry-Potter Books idea’.

Remus set his fork and knife down and glanced at Tonks, clearing his throat. "Well, I thought I'd start with ravishment, move on to kidnapping, and finish with a shady half-legal wedding performed by a Muggle priest at knifepoint."

"Mmh. You're aware the traditional rope won't work on Nymphadora?"

"Oh, I've been practicing my petrification spells."

"You are the most ill-behaved man I have ever married," Andromeda said to Ted. Tonks was bright red. "You're only encouraging him."

"That's the general idea," Ted replied. "I want grandchildren, Andi."

"DAD!"

"Sorry, sweetheart. In your own time, of course," Ted patted her hand. "But if you're not planning on it until later in life, I wish you'd let me know and I'll get a puppy in the meantime."
