I've been writing Star Wars fanfic for over 40 years and, after being featured in several fanzines since the mid 1980s, I started posting here in 2005. I did have writers block from 1994 to 2004 but thankfully with a lot of support from MJ Mink and my best buddy, Kazlynh (check out her fic, please) I managed to break through it. After my husband died suddenly in September 2011, my work became even darker as I tried to work through my grief. Sadly, from 2015/16 I got another bought of Writer's block as real life impacted on my time, my creativity and the words just would not flow. I have been working hard to cut through this block, but thus far (2023) I have been unsuccessful.

I hope that you enjoy what my muse produces and if you have enjoyed what you read, or have some constructive criticism to give, please give feedback.

I have an "Archive of Our Own" account and will be posting my fic there, too. Given that it allows more mature stories I have posted the full version of the first chapter of "Downfall" there. I'm treenahasthaal there, too!

I am often asked about my "unfinished" tales Dark Times, Consequences and Downfall these have NOT been abandoned and there are lots more to come for all.

20/01/21: I last updated my profile on the 6th December 2019. What a year we have had! Personally, it has been very very difficult. I lost my sister, my mother and an uncle within one year. (All non-covid related). I have had some tough work issues (I wish I could retire) and some serious physical and mental health issues. All of these have impacted on my writing - although I have posted fic on AO3 and tumblr which were written from tumblr prompts. I really should post them here, too.

I have also written a little more of Dark Times. I have re-edited and re-written from the very start of Chapt 54: For Darkness restores, but will not update chapters until I have re-edited and written much more of DT.

I'd like to thank everyone who have commented (even the negative ones) on my tales and for sticking with me during my own Dark Times.

09/08/2022: Well, I survived covid... Work is much better, health is "so, so," but my mental health has much improved. The question is... will I be able to update my tales and finish the darned things? Who knows?! What I do know is that this world around us has been quite dystopian!

24/09/2023: I am still alive! :D Just not having much success with the writing! :( I will keep trying to motivate myself, but I am so, so rusty!
