Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Angel, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
Fan fiction business first:
Note: I have a profile on Archive Of Our Own, so if you're a member, you should go follow me there, too. I do plan on posting all of my stories on both sites, but some of my upcoming Interaction stories cross the MA rating, which, some of you may not realize, is not actually allowed on ff.net. AO3 allows any (appropriately tagged) content, so the day may come where everything is available there and not here. I'll let you know if that happens.
But AO3 is really cool, y'all. They're a part of a nonprofit all about honoring and archiving fanworks as their own notable art form. They're also much more user-friendly, and it's easier for you followers of the Interaction series to keep track of story order and whatnot over there (and also for the Blood and Time series that I'm co-authoring in the Angel/DW fandom). Same pen name, but no spaces (so ConstantCommentTea). And if you're not a member, check it out. I've been won over.
The Art of Human Interaction (Angel) - Technically old (ten years old), but it's gotten a facelift. Same general story, but better/more descriptions, some altered dialogue for clarity and character consistency, and better establishing of a few characters who become important later in the series (but I didn't know it at the original time of writing). All around improvements.
The Moon Thesis (Angel; Doctor Who) - Finally! The second story of the Blood and Time series, where Angel meets the 10th Doctor and they disagree about being heroes. Available to read on my joint account with the co-author here. Or you can search for our pen name, Constant Babble.
The Other Master (Angel; Doctor Who) - The fourth story of the Blood and Time series, where there's a bit of a mix-up with evil dudes named "The Master"... Follow the instructions for The Moon Thesis to get to it, since it's on a co-authoring account.
Works in Progress
(Untitled Sequel to And Then an Owl Flew into the Kitchen) (Harry Potter): I've planned most of it, written a bunch of it, and I know the end. I'm eager to finish this piece, so although it's been slow, it will come someday, I swear.
Interaction series (Angel): Yes, there are more. Lots more. Most of them crossover with the Blood and Time series, but not all. The current one I'm working on is called Enchanted Evenings and it deals with parent issues; this story is following the 80-20 rule to almost mathematical exactness, so I'm in the last 20% of writing, but it's taking 80% of the time... Also upcoming are Confidants and Rubies and And None Contented, both of which are actually done, but because reasons I don't want to post these out of order. So expect an avalanche some day soonish (probably later this year).
Blood and Time series (Angel/Doctor Who): Angel and the Doctor. Take a moment to consider this combination... Babblefest and I did, and what we realized was: Enemies... Best friends... Epic bromance. (Best read here for organizational reasons: http:// archiveofourown.org/ series/89854 [copy, paste, and take out the spaces because this site is horrible with URLs and external links, but you can also go to the profile for Constant Babble on FFNet, too.) Next up: War Stories. Angel and the Doctor nudge each other to get over their relationship PTSD over drinks and some violence.
In the past:
I also enjoy horseback riding, reading, spending time with my cat, dog, and horse, and drinking tea. My sense of humor is generally ironic, often random, and sometimes sarcastic.
Thank you for taking an interest in me and my works!
Many thanks to Ashesatmidnight for these beautiful banners!
