Although, she supposes, when you don't want to see something, it's very easy to ignore it. And she certainly didn't want to see this. Not this. Never this.

She is surely being punished for something, otherwise she wouldn't currently be stuck in an elevator with Regina, who is quite happily listing all the ways that this is entirely Emma's fault.

It might have been reckless and have disaster written all over it, but Emma felt desperate to see behind the curtain again. To just get a glimpse at the girl Regina had hidden behind all the suits and make up and clever dry wit that no one seemed to really get.

Regina broods over what she dislikes about Emma Swan while she makes her morning coffee only to be confronted by the sheriff moments later. The morning ends with Emma showing insight, Regina showing a crack in her armor, and the potential for something more to happen for both of them. This will be Swan Queen by the end.
