Been a Star Wars fan all my life. Saw A New Hope in 1977 when I was seven. The rest is history. I used to write original work but tried my first stab at fan fiction after I saw Revenge of the Sith. I thought of how would a journal written by Palpatine look like? Thus, Palpatine's Journal was born and I haven't stopped writing fan-fic since.
I bought the DVDs of Firefly and fell in love with the show and characters in a heartbeat. Went to see Serenity five times in the theater and later got the Big Damn Movie on DVD itself. Shiny! As I got myself familiar with The 'Verse, I saw fit to try my hand at writing in it.
Like so many millions before me, I went to see The Dark Knight five times last year, once on IMAX, which was just mind-blowing. I have seen many movies and can appreciate great acting, but Heath Ledger's Joker was just awe inspiring. I had never seen an actor simply disappear into a role as well as he did. No one will ever even think of playing the Joker again. He set the bar that high! I started reading fan fics with the Joker, and so many go way over the top and use the same lines or techniques. I've come up with my own Joker, based on Heath's role, and have gotten the best compliments. Someone told me that they could hear Heath say my words as the Joker. What an honor. I dedicate my Dark Knight fan fics to the memory of Heath Ledger. He's up there with the best: BrandoOlivierLemon...and now Ledger.
Recently read and watched Coraline and was blown away by both. I thought of a story based on the book (the movie adds another character for the translation because in the book there's alot of inner thoughts from Coraline and that would be hard to express on film). I wondered what would happen to Coraline when she became an adult and I had to put it into words.
Just a story note: My biggest trilogy has been completed. Introducing Mary Jane Skyler The Case of Mary Jane Skyler The Purpose of Mara Jade Skywalker It is DONE!
Update - Traits Of Descent is finished! Thanks to all who reviewed and read! Feel free to PM me to discuss!
Preview of coming attractions - Something totally different. A Jennifer's Body fic. Sorry, guys, no lesbian scenes here. This is an aspect to the movie that few have discovered in fan fic. It is finished.
My story According to Plan is finished. But the victims for who I wrote it for still are suffering. The Haiti earthquake has been now pushed back to the secondary pages of the news but that doesn't mean they are still not in need. Please give anything you can to the American Red Cross, or donate items.
Update 8/13/2010 - For those several fans of Drawing Of The Masks, I am currently writing a sequel. Coming Soon!
9/1/10 - The sequel is here! Part one is up. Two should be coming soon. Enjoy!!
10/27/10 - Part 2 of Shadow Self is finally up! Sorry for the delay but Darth Real Life prevails again!I'll have the Epilogue up tonight!
In the meantime, I'm still working on my newest epic, Dark Paradise. The next chapters will get more spooky. I tried to parallel this story with Halloween, but Darth RL...you know.
I changed the title of my latest epic, formerly named Dark Paradise. As I'm writing it, the new title makes more sense and gives it more of a mystery. It is now entitled, Agharta.
8/11/11 - Lo and behold, I am writing my first Harry Potter fic. Please don't put a spell on me if it's bad. This was a plot bunny formed after I saw DH 2 and it wouldn't let go until I put it on paper. I always felt that HP was already written well anyway but since this one is set after Rowling's books are over, I don't feel so bad. I have the first part posted and writing the 2nd part now. Coming soon. *Extra points from Gryffindor if anyone can spot where I found the title.*
Update on 7/29/2012 - I have begun outlines for the last chapter in the Drawing Of The Masks trilogy! I didn't know what direction to go until I saw The Dark Knight Rises recently. My original story seems to have gained notoriety because of the new movie out. Coming soon!
8/7/2012 - Drawing Of The Masks 3 has arrived! Part One is up now. Now, for those very familiar with tons of Batman comics and know how Joker can escape, keep in mind that I'm basing this trilogy in Christopher Nolan's Batman world. Other than that, enjoy and review as you see fit!
9/5/2012 - The new chapter for Who Are We? is up. There will be a short Epilogue that I'm writing now and an author's note regarding the end of my own Batman trilogy.
11/15/2012 - Years after I started it, Agharta is now complete! Posted the last chapter! Thanks to all who read and reviewed!
9/6/2014 - Added another story. And I've done something that I said I'd hardly do. Crossovers. But the combination of Leverage and Burn Notice was too strong and I couldn't stop my muse. Still writing it and deciding if I want to write a whole con job or just a passing meeting between characters. To be continued. As Nate says, "let's go steal a fan fction story!"
1/2/2015 - They say writers never consider their works completely finished. For those who loved my first Firefly story, Till Death Do Us Part, I spruced it up a bit. Added a few lines here and there. Consider it a "director's cut". I may go back to redo some other shorter stories.
8/25/15 - I dug into my semi-endless group of stories that I only posted on the Jedi Council Forums years ago and found two that I never posted here. The first is a small vignette about Beru and Owen Lars after they were given baby Luke. The second one is a bit different. I made an AU parody of sorts of a certain TV psychologist set 25 years after the events of Sacrifice, where Mara lives of course, and some other differences. Enjoy!
9/13/2016 - Lately I've been watching Supergirl on CBS and loving it. I think Melissa Benoist is great in the role. The last episode, For The Girl Who Has Everything, has to be the strongest and most emotional one yet. I thought what was missing was a conversation with her famous cousin about the situation. Plus I sort of plugged B vs S. You're welcome DC! Enjoy Always In The Heart. NOTE: It was brought to my attention that chatroom dialogue is prohibited on this site. I have revised the story to make it more like a story rather than just a chat. Those who have already read it will see the difference. Those who haven't are in for a treat. Enjoy!
6/8/2017 - Haven't said anything about it here yet, but my latest Star Wars epic, The Aperion Principle, is coming along slowly. Just added the latest chapter. I was hesitant about writing a SW fanfic that's OC dominant, but I figure there are other characters to write than the Solos and Skywalkers everytime. I've researched my genetics information on the surface, so if there are geneticists reading this, please be kind to the Graphic Arts major. Since it has been months since the last chapter post, please message me if you need a short summary before reading the next chapter. Thanks for reading!
12/29/17 - I finally entered the new trilogy territory in fan fiction. Not much to write about in my opinion from Force Awakens. But The Last Jedi opens up so many questions that I couldn't resist. One of the things I found interesting was the reveal of who Rey's parents are. That's where I start my speculation.
1/20/18 - Reworking an old fanfic based on Supernatural starring Charlie Bradbury and Dorothy Baum immediately after the events of season nine's Slumber Party.
1/27/18 - I have finally written a 2nd chapter to It's Good To Be Queen! I have some more ideas for further chapters.
2/21/18 - Writing my first epic story set in the new Star Wars trilogy with Rey, Finn and a bunch of my own OCs. Keep enjoying What You Have Learned.
