“Honed writing is the sharpest weapon.”
Hi I’m Margaux, 21 years old, and this used to be a long profile (well, longer hehe). Anyway, I read so much that my list can go on for days, which doesn’t even come close to the music list I have. Just in case you want to know me more, you could pm me and we’ll talk.
I've been involved in the journalism and publishing world (ended with my being executive ed when I graduated) and other literary feats since 5th grade but on a recreational basis more so than a job. As those who've been following me know, I'll be enrolling in a school of Medicine this May 20 then start on June and have been training to be ever since. There even came a time when I wasn't allowed to write for our school paper, high school, or college. But my persistence and reckless imagination just won't let me that on the point of quitting, I got promoted, humbly over and over until I can't quit anymore. I'm not here to brag but to share. They say that one can only have one passion. I beg to differ. Know me truly and you'll be surprised. Though my biggest passion is to hold a scalpel and wear a white coat, writing is still close to number one in my heart. I'm very happy I didn't quit. :)
Major announcement, after I finish Parachutes and put up an epilogue of Silence, the Loudest Sound, I won't be writing for a long time, or am considering being on leave indefinitely. I'll try to squeeze in iWish but that's the bulk of it. I have one epic story in my mind that's been going on and on itching for publication but it would be unfair if I start a new one with the rest still "end-less". It's working title is Passengers which hints at Parachutes even if it's an AH story. I'll just be typing it on time snatches but will not be posting it yet until I'm sure it's done.
Anyways, I’m really glad that there are people who like my stories.
Here are some of the things I’ve experienced here that warmed my heart and made me smile for days and days:
For one, Just Say was nominated for best song usage in the Twilight Indie Awards. I still don’t know who you are but I really want to thank you! It didn’t get past the first judging but still, just the mere fact it was nominated shot me through the moon considering it was just an experimental story.
Two, Just Say was plagiarized and put up on Wattpad by some chick. I got upset, but so did the readers who understood and not only wished me well but pushed me to continue contributing stories and finish the 'held back' ones. Thank you loves! But most of all, thank you ysar (her page link below) for informing me of this and what step to do! (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1733608/ysar)
Three, Silence, the Loudest Sound is currently my most popular one. I still smile when people tell me that I scared them to death with the second-to-the-last chapter only to love me again with the next. Now CrystalAbbie (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2293247/CrystalAbbie)wanted to translate this in Russian. And I was going, Really?! This is so flattering. The kind of flattery that’s really flattering, not the “imitation is the best form” the story stealer did *cough* number 2 *cough*. After I gave the go signal, she told me that people like my story and my smile grew wider _ (If you speak Russian, here’s the link ). Oh and it's nearing it's 1000 mark review. Fingers crossed!
Four, Of course, just the alerts, the favorites, the hits, and most nice reviews are enough to make the journey here epic awesome!
Oh and lastly, being from a small country, I’m a happy Filipina to have reached people from other countries.
So thank you my dears, for making my fan fiction experience truly lovely and memorable! I was a reader first, before I decided to write. :)

Saving the Gashlycrumb Tinies
A lovely Complex
Does life defy fate - discontinued indefinitely. I've actually written ten chapters of this but am too tired to type.
Currently reading: Med books and Lady-von-Strife's Avengers fic- http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8115346/1/Worth and some DC-lovin'.
I have a new obsession, actually two.
Since the summer I have been shipping Robin/Starfire like crazy. I actually worked on, well, am working on a story but I haven't had the time to finish it because it's a very ambitious and complicated one and I just don't have the time.
But, oh my God. I have the biggest crush on Hunter Clarington. So here you are folks with a Glee story I hope to finish.
Never did I see myself writing for Glee of all things. Batman? Badass.
PS: I'm still in Med school. It's still hell. But we get slivers of heaven sometimes.
