My name is Caitlin. I go by Katie or Kate, which ever you prefer. I've been into Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit since I was a kid. My dad bought me the 1977 Hobbit movie and the 1982 Lord of the Rings movie. That was my first taste of that world. But I hadn't read the books. So when Fellowship of the Ring came out, I picked up old copies of my dad's books and immediately started reading them. I love the movies and I love the books. Now that The Hobbit is out, I can add that to my collection and I look forward to the other two installments. I recently picked up the book again after so many years.
I've been into fanfiction for quite a number of years but only recently started writing ones for The Hobbit, though I have yet to do a single one for Lord of the Rings.

95% of teens would cry if they saw Justin Bieber at the top of a skyscraper about to jump. Copy and paste this if you are part of the 5% that would sit there with popcorn and a camera and yell "DO A FLIP".
About 95 percent of girls would scream if Edward jumped over a Cliff, 4 percent would yell "JUMP!" and 1 percent would push him off. Post this on your profile and tell us: Which side are you on? I'm the 1 percent that would push him off... and I'd put spikes and garlic at the bottom. We don't need sparkly vampires who aren't real vampires. I'd put him on the phone with Dracula or even Damon Salvatore! They can tell Mr. Sparklehead what a vampire is!!
