![]() Author has written 9 stories for One Piece, Naruto, Warcraft, Dragon Ball Z, Warhammer, Harry Potter, Elder Scroll series, and Marvel. I had several inspirations to write my story. One of the things that stuck to me was Kenchi618 saying something about writing fanfiction, because he was tired of waiting for other people to write. In a way, I write to give back to the community that's killed my boredom on many an occasion. If I have any request to potential fanfiction authors, it's that if you write an isekai story. Please, please, please don't use a ROB (Random Omnipotent Being) in your prologue or story. Same with SI backstories. Like, we don't need to see your SI die from eating a ham sandwhich or get a visit from truck kun before the isekai. And we don't need to see that you're secretly a "good guy" taking out some f#cking terrorists or some shit before you isekai. NO! Just insert and live your new life. And bro, don't be having your SI team up with the main caste every time. How many f#cking shadows does Naruto need? How many f#cking brothers does Harry Potter have? Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherf#cking snakes on this motherf#cking plane! Be your own man/woman! Your insert is GOING to have cheats. It's just a law of fanfiction. Don't be some basic btch and simping on the main caste. Rope in some of those side characters that are interesting to you. Use non-canon sources. Anything but following the exact same plot we've all seen a dozen plus times. C'mon! Another thing to authors out there. Don't be posting huge author's notes in the beggining of a chapter. Inflating your word count like that is for scum. If you want to respond to someone, just PM them. Likewise, don't be posting 500 word plus AN's at the end. That's just siiiick. Maybe make a small joke, small response, alt line of dialogue/scene, some musings for future content/chapters or don't say anything at all. To readers. Say something. Anything at all. If you write one complete sentence, I gurantee you've made that author happy. To those who write three or more sentences, Buddha, Jesus and Space Lizard Pope have a special place for you in Heaven. I'm done with Gamer stories. Only so much Observe a man can take. Endless stat walls/"should I learn this skill I'm going to spend three paragraphs describing, or one of these other three skills???" And -34HP -53HP -22HP, etc. The "emotionless" state is just so boring and cliche at this point. Every Gamer tries to be "fresh" and find some lame workaround. The Gamer as we know it has been around for the last NINE YEARS. Enough. It's awful and monotonous. You're so bogged down in observe/stats that you never get to the plot! Then your character has no character, and is just a training machine that transcends time and travels the multiverse. Every. Fricken. Time. No more gamers. The site is bugging the f#ck out today~ If my story disappears, I didn't delete it~ Peace. |
