Author has written 2 stories for Fairy Tail, Batman, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
I used to post a lot of stories here in an account that's now defunct. I've been rather busy the last few years trying to make a go of writing and selling my original work, but plot bunnies still pop up now and again. So, I've made this account to explore new character archetypes and more mature themes than I usually stick to writing YA while getting feedback without affecting the established branding I've built. I hope you understand.
That said, folks please review the works you read, and I'm not just talking about here. As nice as reviews on fan works are, they're much more important for original works. Without the big five keeping a stranglehold on who is and is not published, it's more difficult than ever to make it in the publishing industry today. The markets are flooded with millions of titles, which is good for the reader, but it makes it next to impossible to stand out or even be found for newbie authors. That's where reader reviews come in. Amazon and other distributors rank books based not only on sales but on the number of reviews and the average star rating. Only books with twenty-five or more reviews get any sort of boost at all, and I can tell you from experience, maybe one in a hundred readers will bother to leave so much as a one-word review. That's for paid copies. Those who do free giveaways, which are meant expressly to encourage reviews, might get one review for every thousand or so downloads.
So in short, if you read something and like it, support the author by leaving them a review on Amazon or Goodreads. It only takes a minute, and even just a word or two along with the star rating counts. You'll help other readers find them, and who knows, your review might come in on the day your favorite author would have decided to give up writing forever.
A note on updates: I am back after roughly four years where I did not have time to post due to holding a couple of jobs at the same time. Unfortunately, that has led to severe burnout. So, I am back at least for a time, writing fan fiction to get back into practice writing fiction at all before resuming work on my original stuff. I cannot promise how frequently updates will happen, but I do want to finish Crossing Realities and Divergent Harmonics before I go quiet again.
