Author has written 3 stories for Gilmore Girls, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
You know what kind of sucks? I have this thing where I have an idea for a story, and I'm like yay that would totally rock! And I start writing...after about a page or two, I'm stuck. It's always like that, I make a beginning for a story but don't know how to continue, while in my head I have all these ideas about how it should continue, but no idea how to actually write it right.
And then that thing happens, where I have hundreds of new ideas for different stories, and I start on those, and forget about the previous one. Like I wrote this story about where Spike goes back in time, and I wanted to wait until I had finished it completely before I updated it, but I got as far as two chapters when I wanted to put it up on fanfiction anyway, because I was too impatient. And now I'm stuck in the third chapter, because I have another story I have to continue too, and a lot of ideas for other stories.
I also have this other fic about Gilmore Girls that I really have to finish, because people have had to wait like six months or something, but I just can't get myself to write it, because I totally got addicted to Buffy again and I just can't find the patience to read/write Gilmore girls stories. At first I had a lot of ideas for that story too that would get me as far as like maybe 30 chapters or sometihng, but now I guess someday I'll write one last chapter for it, so as not to keep it hanging out there unfinished. I know how much I hate it myself when a really good story is left unfinished. Not that I'm saying that my GG story is really good or anything! In fact, I think it quite sucks, since I wrote that one when I was still starting to get into the whole writing thing. I think I developed my writing-skill a little bit further since then...
Oh, another thing that blows. A few years ago I wrote fanfiction about Buffy, and I had a whole bunch of stories, some of which were like a hundred pages long. I really wanted to read those again and rewrite them because the ideas for them were pretty good, the writing just sucked because I wasn't that good at English yet, and I had no idea how to write a story realistically. Hey, I was like fourteen or something. But I threw them all away or something, and now I don't have them anymore...which I think is kind of a shame...
Anway, I hope that with that whole thing I said before, kind of explains why I don't update my stories very frequently. I do eventually, it always just takes a while to write a new chapter.
PS. I know it says 'profile' but I guess I wasn't really in a profiling mood, and just wanted to write something...whatever
