Author has written 5 stories for Naruto, X-overs, and Digimon.
Life has brought me here. And I intend to say something about it.
Research and Development
Naruto, pre series divergence, contains elements from many media NaruIno
Status: Ch5: Surface Tensions (50 percent)
An amalgamation of several Naruto fanfictions I had written and long since deleted as well as many new ideas, R&D is basically my brainchild. It's awfully old, since first being posted, and has undergone major plot changes that none of you have really seen. It began as something else entirely, a sort of hate-porn of Naruto getting revenge on his tormentors, and has become sort of my engine of exploration of many concepts. Some of them include: how the mind is influenced from use of the scientific process, the cost of progress, and the removal of the lenses of nostalgia.
KyuubiWindscar's Mind Probe
Status: Indefinitely In-Progress
Bunch of One-Shots that could turn into full story ideas or just die on the screen. Either or.
Digimon, AU of 02 Universe
Status: Ch4: Untitled (Restarted, 0 percent complete)
SE is my foray into the world of Digimon FF, inspired by Minion of Set's Second Coming: Providence. It was almost a crossover between it and the game it draws a lot of it's new expanded mythos from, Square Enix's Infinite Undiscovery. If you played the game before, you should enjoy the homages paid to the series and my (hopefully) seamless blending with the Digimon mythos.
Turtle Destruction Wave
Naruto/DBZ fusion, pre-series divergence
Status: Ch3: Team Building Exercise: Chunin Exams (Not started)
This one started as mostly just...a fun idea. I had started to realize just how much Naruto drew from the Dragon Ball franchise, as well as re-reading the famous Legacy of the Rasengan series, when the idea of Naruto using the titular ability popped into my head. My original plan for this story was to be mostly a parody, but at some point I gave it a real plot and plan to continue.
The Amazing Spider-Nin
Naruto/Spider-Man fusion, Series start divergence
Status: Ch2: Brand New Day (Not started)
As a huge fan of the "make the main character an Expy of another universe, in their own universe" form of storytelling, TASN is my attempt at trying to truly blend two characters that are both parallel and so different from each other into one. It also allows me to explore identity crises, which I think get glossed over with the same old "mask" metaphors that have been in circulation for over a decade. Plus, it's fun figuring out how web swinging is useful in the wide open world of Naruto.
Order Of Justiciars
TES:Skyrim/JLA fusion, pre-Helgen divergence
Status: Ch2: Secret Origins II (Not started)
I wrote this mainly because if you play Skyrim for PC, you're aware of the massive number of mods available. But even so, as a writer, I still never feel truly 'immersed' because of the limitations of gameplay. I also wanted to incorporate the elements of the DC Universe, which now has gained ample amounts of respect from me after being a Marvel-only snob for so long, because I think it can be amazing. Still, lore-friendly is the name of the game, and I hope to surprise you all with who is who and what is what in this one.
The Rightful Way (Naruto)
As much as I'm not sure what caused me to start this one way back in high school, I'm even less sure why I ended up discontinuing it. It was a Sharingan!Naruto fic, back when Namikaze Minato was "Kazama Arashi". As it is, I had a lot of moral high ground stuff written for this one and I'm almost annoyed thinking about how black-and-white this fic was going to end up being.
This...this is a classic case of a story taking a life of it's own. A manifestation of my depression meeting the trend of writing forms of abuse out of torture porn in Naruto fanfiction (I seriously question all of our sanity from that time), it transformed into something...more. It quickly became the story I used all my most creative ideas for, and a vehicle for the complexity of the human psyche. I had planned on exploring love, the difference between revenge and justice, the complications of human relationships on all fronts, all these things. As it was, the only thing that stopped Revenge from going had to be that my introduction was sooo unbelievable.
Lions And Tigers (Inuyasha)
My original brainchild, after my first fic (a Digimon story I can barely even remember at my 'advanced' age) that I spent many days and nights plotting and outlining. It's the reason I still feel calls to write in the Inuyasha fandom and probably why I will end up doing so soon despite my current slate. Maybe. L&T had a lot of ideas that I want to pass on, but I just can't find the right story to push it into.
Memoirs of Carnage (Naruto)
Memoirs was the first story I had a definitive ending for when I first put words on the page, and as is the one story I truly wish I had finished. It was my war story, an attempt to look into the psychology of soldiers, civilians, and everything in between during a period of prolonged war with no end in sight. As my 'dark' story, I also wanted to use it to eventually delve into human sexuality, moving on after loss, and finding happiness in the small things.
The Key, The Gama, and the Ugly Sennin (Naruto)
I feel like there's some sort of trend here...but anyway, this one was a crazy plot bunny that got away from me. It's significance probably lies in the fact that it's the first fic I think I cancelled because canon had a better idea than I did (the one time). The idea was from the 'Naruto leaves and comes back as God' mold, using Mt. Myoboku and senjutsu as the means. Except my ideas for senjutsu were much less...detailed than Kishi's and I didn't see much room for progression.
