Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter.
I got addicted to fanfiction because my friend begged me to read her story... And several stories later I was addicted. I usually end up writing something after some profound inspiration, or when I can't sleep. Either way it is usually written in the middle of the night and sounds kinda dumb the next day... Which is why most of the stuff I write won't ever be posted on here. But all that aside, I love reading and finding a good new story to stay up until 2 in the morning reading... That usually makes my day.
I usually only read Harry Potter Fanfiction, and that's mainly because I am obsessed. My mom threatened to burn my books when I started re-reading them for the umpteenth time. Lucky for me, she doesn't often follow through with threats like that, because then I would have to resort to becoming a TV junkie... Not a good idea, because you can only watch Friends reruns so many times. I suppose I might start branching out to other books in the FanFiction world, but not anytime soon. Where Harry Potter is concerned, my favorite book is the Prision of Azkaban followed by a three way tie between the 5th, 4th and 7th. The 6th really was underwhelming and mostly a disappointment. I suppose it provided some good background knowledge and set up for the 7th book well, but I thought it lacked the sparkle that the other books have. But I might have thought that because I personally hate the whole Harry/Ginny relationship idea. It's overdone, and rarely ever plausible or well written. I dislike it even in the series. I hated the epilogue in the 7th book. I've always seen Harry as more of a solitary figure. He doesn't seem like the type that could ever function well in a relationship after years of depending on himself, Ron and Hermione. Harry seems to be one of those chronic bachelors. Someone who will date, but has very little chance of ever ending up happy-ever-after. And the chances of finding that kind of love at sixteen are about the same as calling a whale with a harmonica. Anyways, happy reading.
