Author has written 12 stories for Animal Crossing, Harry Potter, West Side Story, A Knight's Tale, House, M.D., Anastasia, Macbeth, and Shakespeare.
Hello, world! It's me. Naturally.
Things I Ramble About:
Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter
Gulliver the Pelican from Animal Crossing
Riff from West Side Story
Chaucer from A Knight's Tale. (Although honestly, I found Chaucer from Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales almost as equally awesome, hillarious, and worship-worthy. Don't judge)
Dr. Chase from House, MD. Because Chase is sexy. Is there another reason? Okay, fine, besides the accent...
Dmitri from Anastasia. Not often, not with much of a point. I just love him in a way that is completely disproportionate to how much he is an actual person.
Things I Wish I Had The Energy To Write About But Don't:
Javert from Les Miserables
Numair the mage/hawk on rare occasions from Tamora Pierce's assorted stuff (modified title)
Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet
Roger Davis from RENT
Commadore Norrington from Pirates of the Caribbean
Scar from The Lion King. Because Scar is a G. And The Lion King is the best movie ever made. I'm old enough to pay my own bills and don't care who knows that I feel this way. Actually, I make this feeling pretty well-known.
Things I Love:
Writing only in dialogue. That's how I draft things. Sometimes I have to remind myself to go back and add in things that aren't in quotation marks, just for clarity's sake.
Ryan Gosling. Beautiful, beautiful individual.
Paul Bettany. The man is a genius. No, really.
Timbaland. I can't explain my infatuation with Timbaland. He doesn't do anything. He's never had a song on his own. He lurks in the shadows of music videos and makes strange vowel-based noises, and then puts these songs on his own album. The limit of his expertise seems to be "I'm out of time and all I got is four minutes fricki fricki four minutes ay". And yet I scream like a fangirl every time I hear that part in Madonna/JT's "Four Minutes" where there's a break in the singing and all you hear is Timbaland in the background going "fricki fricki fricki fricki" over and over. (It's at about 1:27. Listen for it.) Like I'm saying, I just can't explain it. But I know I'd commit a long list of felonies to have Timbaland do a duet with me...
Things I Hate:
Finals week. A class-A killer of muses. I hope it's proud of itself. Nobody else is.
Anyone who thinks that adding an apostrophe on the end of words makes it plural. You do not mean "warm delicious latte's", you mean "warm delicious lattes". Warm, delicious latte's WHAT??
On a similar note, people who confuse the words "effect" and "affect." "Effect" is a noun, "affect" is a verb. I fail to see why this is so difficult for 95 of the world's population to grasp, but life is full of mysteries.
Random Info About My Stories:
-Gulliver On The High Seas (An Animal Crossings epic): Dudes! I totally finished this! Yes, it took me upwards of three years. Yes, given the amount of time probably nobody who started reading it really gives much of a crap anymore. But that's entirely beside the point. The point is, I finished something that's not a one-shot! There's hope for my attention span yet.
-Through Their Eyes (A West Side Story Extravaganza): Dudes! I totally finished this too! Ka-owned! Okay, the further you go down this page the smaller you realize my "let's get this baby done" ethic is, because I started this during eighth grade Algebra 1 and have just finished posting the final chapter two weeks before embarking on my final college visit. But maybe that's just a testament to my tenacity. Five years and I never gave up? I think I deserve some effort points for that. Either way, this is my favorite story. Certain chapters of this are literally like children to me, chapters one, two, ten, and fourteen respectively. So I'm going to hi-five myself till Riff and Bernardo come back from the dead nonetheless.
-Remember and The Man In The Wardrobe (Two angsty Harry Potter oneshots): Done. I'm amazing. End of subject.
-Sunday Night (My A Knight's Tale attempt at a sarcastic romance): Unintended, unplanned, completely unreasonable spawn of my subconcious mind when I was supposed to be studying for a French test. But the test was canceled anyway, so at least we got a one-shot out of it et je n'ai pas rate la classe de francais, qui est si important a ma vie quotidienne. So I mean, technically, don't we all win here? (By the way: "unintended, unplanned, and completely unreasonable" could either be the name of a concert tour for All Time Low or one interesting way to describe a pregnancy. Just a thought I'm having here.)
-Home (My West Side Story attempt at a random romance): Sometimes random things happen, and there's nothing you can do about it. Sometimes when you turn your back on your imagination, your imagination spews out things like this. Hakuna Matata, you know? The only thing to do in situations like this is accept that your mind is just naturally going to produce Riff one-shot romances instead of reading Tolstoy like it's supposed to, roll with it, and make somewhat ineffective attempts to quote The Lion King in explanation of it. That's just the way things work, apparently.
~Choices (A plotless and pointless Anastasia 4,000-word explosion of nothing): Living proof that you can write an eight-page typed story with no plot. Win.
And there you go. Me, in twelve seconds or less. Assuming you read really fast.
