Hey guys, welcome to my profile!

My name is Liz (or Lizard to my friends) and I'm a 24 year old Bostonian with a deep love and appreciation for my inner Island Gyal roots (and before you guess, no I'm not Jamaican, but I do have love for them too). I am currently pursuing my dream of a second Bachelors degree to become a nurse, and eventually work in pediatics. Sociology and Biology (my major and minor respectively) have taught me a lot and I hope to use them in combination with my next degree (after which I will quit school for as long as I can xD). I have loved anime and mangas since I was 5 and have always maintained that love as they are very much a part of me. As an avid reader of books, fanfics also have a special place in my heart and have been there since I started reading them in 2004. No matter what comes in my life I absolutely refuse to part with these three pieces of me, even if I do take a break every once in a while.

I am not the best writer in the world (believe me), but I'll try my best to meet the demands of the public. I am hoping that through you and your reviews that I'll improve. Just to let you guys know in advance, I love stories and songfics that involve Kurama and Botan pairings. I just wanted to warn you guys, as I do have a very bad tendency to get corny with my stories, xD...

Favorite Books: I have read a lot of books, but I really can't remember all of the titles and the authors, and if I had to do that, then I would never ever finish this profile. However, I do have to give a shoutout to my favorite author, Isabelle Allende. Her books are just so beautiful and they really take your imagination to new heights.

~Regarding my stories:~

Well, if you haven't already noticed, I'M BACK!! Back in June '07, I uploaded Chapter 6 of Haunted. Now, I won't deny that school, writer's block, and job hunting took me away from this wonderful place, but I'm back and ready to juggle my stories with work and school (life after college is mean, xD). I have a new oneshot posted and have another oneshot that I've already written half of. I also have four stories burning holes in my brain. First up, A Moment in Time, is an idea I got when I read another author's oneshot. I already have permission for this story and will get to work on it as soon as I post the second oneshot I'm working on (if not before then xD). My first multi-chaptered story Haunted is officially discontinued. I feel as though the story wasn't progressing the way that I had wanted it to and with a heavy heart I am ending its run. I will however keep it posted on this site as it still has a place in my heart as my first attempt at writing something that wasn't short. My third story, Demon Wives, Demon Lives will be a much more mature fic and will reflect what goes on in the lives of the couples in the YYH universe. That story will need a lot of time from me and I really want it to come out right. Lastly, Twisted is a story that I wrote outside of my comfort zone during my junior year in college. Everyone seemed to love it and I can't wait to work on it and put it up here. Hopefully, it will be met with a nice reception here (there are surprises in it that even shocked me xD).

I am here to stay and will work hard to make my stories worthy of being read. My updates may be slow, but the slower the writer, the better the story, right? As for now, I'm just looking for a job, focusing on my next degree and thinking/daydreaming of fanfics all day long :)...

As you guys can see, I have a very big weakness for Yu Yu Hakusho stories. I love the show and I love all of the stories that you guys come up with. I hope that I get the chance to read all of your stories out there!
