Author has written 8 stories for Yu Yu Hakusho, Fruits Basket, and Harry Potter. Formerly Red Kitsune Flames I chose my original name on a whim by sticking some words together, and I was fine with that, but it doesn't really reflect my fandoms well anymore. I'm trying to change my fanfiction brand, so to speak, and I thought Zollercoaster was much more fitting for me, and it's not genre-specific. It's been long enough since my older work that I don't think anyone seems to be following me from back then, so I hope it's not an issue for anybody. Community: Something Critical I recently started this C2, and I'm still in the process of populating it. If you want to help out, hit me up! Or subscribe! It's devoted to HP stories about human weakness, moving stories about characters who are searching for what's missing in their lives. Official Description: This is for all of those amazing stories about characters who are missing something in their lives, and whose journeys to discover that critical something move us all. Sometimes they find it, sometimes they don't. Featuring but not limited to Time Travel, Abuse, Childhood Angst, and Intense Romance stories. A little about me I seriously love angst. I appreciate it when things make me laugh, but I love stories that move me to tears. Even when I try to write things that aren't angst, I end up doing it anyway. I think human suffering is unavoidable, and that everyone has some sort of angst in them, so exploring how characters deal with their suffering is my passion. I like stories where everyone has suffering that they are trying to overcome, though usually one person suffers more than the others. When characters come together to help the one(s) suffering most, they are forced to confront their own suffering, and it's a beautiful, fascinating thing that I never get tired of. Also, I love slash. Current or Stalled Stories Cradle (Harry Potter) This story is intended to be a long time travel fic, though I have unexpectedly still not reached the part in the story where they travel back in time. I focus a lot on the development of every individual character, but I'm not super experienced in doing so, so each chapter takes some time. My writing style tends to fluctuate depending on what book I'm reading at the time, which strikes me as strange but doesn't seem to bother anyone, so that's good. The Cure for Apathy (Harry Potter) Status: Hiatus On hiatus for now because I started it on a whim. While I do intend to return to it, I'm focused on Cradle right now and it might be a while before that happens. I might just start from scratch when I go back to it. What Goes Around Comes Around (Fruits Basket) This fic is ANCIENT, but I actually am very enamored of the topic. I plan to revisit it eventually, when I'm done with Cradle. Completed or Dropped Stories Betrothed This idea was sparked by a book summary I read in Barnes & Noble one day. I enjoyed writing in in first person and fairly colloquially. It's so old that the writing looks terrible to me, but I still appreciate it as a story that got decent reception and that I had fun completing. This fic also taught me that I need to work on my skills at writing endings. The Boy Who Had No Heart Status: Dropped This was originally going to be a companion piece to the It's a Secret series, about another character's past, and loosely inspired by Princess Tutu, but it never went anywhere. Betrothed stole my attention. These Dreams Status: Complete Originally intended to be a four-shot, I decided to let this stand alone. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't better received, because at the time that I wrote it, I thought it was perfect. I see flaws in it now, of course, but the reviews I did get were extremely positive. Words Once Spoken Status: Complete The sequel to It's a Secret, this story had some problems, but ultimately went off alright. I was proud of myself for finishing a story and its sequel, and had a bunch of other fics planned in the same universe that never panned out. It's a Secret Status: Complete This was my first fanfic, so I have fond memories of it. I was very pleased with how it was received, and I was always fond of the topic. |
