Author has written 17 stories for Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII, Inuyasha, Naruto, Final Fantasy IX, Detective Conan/Case Closed, and Gundam 00.
If you could care less about news just skip to the break(kanji)... the bio starts there...
Right, so I said that I was "getting back into the hang of things", right? And then I go and disappear without any update whatsoever for five months. I am a dipwad. That said, I have actually been trying to write, but unfortunately, I have been SO uninspired by everything I see that it's nearly impossible for me to actually have fun writing anyway. I hate it. It sucks. I wish I could write something and present it to y'all. But that's just not happening. I had this cool RikuxOlette oneshot I started writing on New Year's Eve with the intention of posting it as a new year's gift to the Kingdom Hearts Fandom... I got about halfway through it and was so bored that I couldn't continue. I suppose it was weird of me to try that anyway since the KH fandom hasn't called to me in YEARS, but I felt as though I had something. I still feel as though I have something, actually. And though I couldn't get it done then, I fully intend to have it finished before next December. Er... that's far too lenient a time frame isn't it? Oh well. I'm lazy like that.
Anyway, about my new avatar... Just so you know, I'm actually not a Hiei/Kurama fan. Personally, I think people who put those two in a human relationship (What am I talking about, you ask? I mean "Human" as in "Human emotion-based") are nuts who can't see the evidence to the contrary when it's right in front of their faces. But that aside, this picture is from this freaking hilarious doujin that's actually a doujin of a doujin. Yeah, I know, WTF, right? Well, the original doujin that the doujin I got my avatar from was modeled after was actually by Yoshihiro Togashi himself as a freebie gift upon the completion of the series at Comiket '94. It in itself is freaking hilarious (I mean, come on... having all the YYH characters really be actors whose personalities are nothing like the characters they portray? Hi-Lar-I-Ous) and very much worthy of your money should you find it on ebay or something. The doujin of the doujin is of the KuwabaraxYusuke flavor (or in this case, NobukunixYohei) which I'm also not that fond of... (Damn it! I want YusukexMukuro doujin! YUSUKE X MUKURO! You hear me?!) and is this er... charming story about Nobukuni (Kuwabara) getting jealous of the women Yohei (Yusuke) is constantly chasing and eventually cornering him on a play ground and kissing him. (This is why I hate most shonen-ai doujin... they're just so fucking pathetic...) Now, where does this little gem of Super-OOC!HieixKurama come in? Why, on the very last page of course! Kuwabara is looking at them strangely from the left side (in the full page) as they chatter like bubble-heads! It's made even more hilarious by the fact that Mamoru (Hiei) is this completely pathetic girly-boy who freaks out at the sight (or thought) of violence... It was just so fucking priceless that I HAD to put it as my avatar. Fo Shizzle.
Er... I got totally off track, there didn't I? I usually do that, though...
Hello, hello my dear friends who have most likely been convinced of my total dead-ness by now! (Er... is that too cheerful sounding?)
So, I've been doing well these past few months. I had a grade dispute not too long ago over one of my art classes which I, unfortunately, lost. The Dean of Humanities was on that stupid teacher's side from the start. The woman actually had the nerve to make a decision about the results of the dispute before I even came in FOR the dispute! And THEN she said, "Let's make this a private matter between the three of us. That way it won't tarnish your record, my record, or Ms. Crapwad's record, okay?" Ugh. What a deadbeat cow. I just kind of want to go back and wring her friggin' neck.
Anyway, that wasn't what I wanted to talk about... So, I have, yet again attempted to FINALLY get back in the groove of writing fanfiction. And I've SLIGHTLY succeeded. Today, I posted the first fanfiction that I've COMPLETED in about two years. That is a very, very good thing. Unfortunately, it frightens me very, very badly. I have not had criticism on anything that I've written since then - mostly because I've never shown it to anyone - and I'm highly worried about how it will be received. -shudders- I hope I did a good job...
Everything else is still in the process of being worked on, though I'm rather at a lack of ideas for some and just don't know how to get the ideas that I do have out for others...
I won't even begin to try and put dates on when I might have anything done by.
Just know that I'm still alive and kicking and (fortunately) still writing.
Uhhh... it's been a long time since I've said anything here... but I'd like to let everyone know that I am sick and tired of writing Angst and Tragedy. Absolutely SICK OF IT. I have three fics that I'm going to finish out that have Angst and/or Tragedy as one of the genres, but after that, I'm doing something different. WAY different. Actually... it's a humour story. And not just a silly oneshot... a full blown, chaptered humour story. I'm gonna see if I can pull it off. Let's hope I can. I'll just give you ONE word...
!snickers in a corner!
Okay, I pride myself in trying to make my characters seem as real and 3-D as possible while trying to stick to the characterizations that I've picked up from the game/book/anime/etc that the character comes from. I am aware that my... earlier story IML has very bad characterizations (not that anyone pointed this out to me... I just noticed it) but I have tried to remedy that in my later works and I believe that I have improved a great deal.
Which means that I understand that people don't have to have absolutely perfect characterizations and that they can truly flex the characters anyway they want to, for this is fanfiction. It is all interpretation from your own mind's eye. "Would she do this?" "Would he do that?" "Would they, as a group, come to this decision?" However, when people draw conclusions that can't be drawn from the information given, or add things that make absolutely no sense and make their characterizations so screwy and all over the place that you, as a human being have trouble following them, I am no longer understanding of their obvious lack of either knowledge, or talent.
One such case, is the characterization of the Final Fantasy 7/Kingdom Hearts character, Yuffie Kisaragi. Now, I have seen MANY extremely well done characterizations of Yuffie. I have seen her written absolutely beautifully in ways that neither games implied that she might be like. Yet again, HOWEVER, there are some misconceptional conclusions drawn by many people that have come to be cliche, and what some people believe she is truly like, that are down right WRONG, and should have never been drawn because ALL evidence proves that it could not be possible.
One of those conclusions is that Yuffie is clumsy. Yuffie never shows anywhere that she is clumsy. Now, I mean, you could pull the conclusion that she is SLIGHTLY clumsy and accidentally do things that someone might say only a clumsy person would do, I can accept that, but when you make her so clumsy that she trips onair and falls on her face or runs into walls, I get mad. YUFFIE IS A NINJA! A SHINOBI! SHE WOULD NOT FALL ON HER FACE ON A REGULAR BASIS! Whatever training she had during her life would have remedied any clumsiness like that she could have had.
Another conclusion is that Yuffie is weak. Yuffie is not weak. I repeat, YUFFIE IS NOT WEAK! If she was weak, would she have joined the fight against ShinRa and Sephiroth in FF7? If she was weak, would Leon have trusted her to go out and fight the heartless in KH1? IFSHE WAS WEAK, would she be one of the people protecting the citizens of Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden in KH2? NO! She would be one of the people you never get a look at because she was a pathetic loser in the background that didn't matter. So I state:
Yuffie is strong.
Yuffie is NOT clumsy. (though it can be pulled off SOMETIMES)
That's the way it is and people will just have to deal with it.
Now, some people may think that I'm nuts, or a prude, or maybe I'm just a narrow-minded bitch, not being able to accept these impossible misconceptions, but quite honestly, I'm a normally open-minded person. I just can't stand it when morons try to write a character they know nothing about but misconceptions. So there.
If anyone wishes to argue this out with me anymore than I already have, please contact me at the name under the "email" button if you have AIM, or email@example.com if you have MSN. If you have neither, just email one of the above addresses. I'll answer back. If you can't do that, then PM me or leave a review to one of my stories. I don't really give a damn.
I have a story that is very dear to me. It has survived a computer crash that resulted in me losing every single bit of data I ever had besides that one file. It has survived my account being destroyed. It has survived the reviewers remarks whether they be good or bad. And most of all, it has survived my own judgement. This story is It's My Life and it is my most important story. It is my finished baby and holds the deepest place in my heart. I will never change it ever. If you feel like flaming it then feel free to, but be warned that you will be flamed back twice as hard because I will defend that story with my life. I don't even care if you are giving me constructive criticism. That story will never change and that is that. Nothing will ever change my opinion of it and that's all there is to it. If you criticise it I MIGHT take it into consideration for another fic but I will not consider anything for that fic. It holds the deepest place in my heart and it is written for me alone.
Naruto Pet Peeves
It pisses me off when the translators of Naruto make a cool-sounding techniques sound like something a baby would create. Take Shikamaru's techinque dubbed "Art of Me-and-my-shadow" by those morons that they call translators. In Japanese the name of Shikamaru's technique is "Kagemane no jutsu" or literally translated "shadow mimicry technique" Many unofficial translators tend to call it "shadowbind technique" which doesn't bother me because it's actually CLOSE to what kagemane no jutsu means, but me-and-my-shadow is not only hard to type, it's an absolutely REDICULOUS translation. I mean if you look up kage and mane in any japanese to english dictionary you will see that they mean shadow and mimicry or imitation. Ugh. Same goes for "Art of the doppelganger" and "kage bunshin no jutsu" or "shadow clone technique".
Another thing that pisses me off is the English dubbed Naruto anime. They put a really high pitched girl as his voice. His voice is so high pitched that it put me and my so-called high pitched voice that I had when I was five to shame. I had a very high pitched voice mind you, so that's saying something.
Anyways, enough about how stupid the translators and voice actors of the Naruto manga and anime are and on to my bio.

I am Mizukithepanda
Name: Mizuki Kurenaida you dolts. (Mee-zoo-key Ku-len-a-ee-da)
Birthday: May 27th
Height: 4' 11 1/2"
Weight: 95 lbs
Hair: dirty blonde/light reddish-brown (yes... it IS natural and it looks very weird)
I am the authoress known as Mizukithepanda. My account was terminated so long ago that I feel that it really doesn't matter much anymore, though to this day I still remember it.
I am also a second year college student. Let me just state that whatever bullshit preconceptions your high school teachers pounded into your puny, mush-like brains about college are most likely 100 percent false. That is... if you test well. If you don't test well, you're likely to either fail or scrape by with a D. On the University level, tests count for SEVENTY PERCENT. Talk about killer... bomb one test and you're screwed for the semester. Bomb one class and your GPA's screwed for the year.
But... regardless... College is infinitely easier and more useful.
Likes: books, manga, anime, japanese, animals, learning, programming, and digital arts
Dislikes: mostly people, but I have to say, homework is a very, VERY close second
Hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, and playing video games
There are so many fandoms that you can find me in that I find it USELESS to try and name them all. I have read at least one story from every category (Anime/Manga, Book, Video Game, etc) and plan on reading more. At the current moment, you can most likely find me reading Yu Yu Hakusho, Detective Conan, Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED, FMA, Dragonball Z, and some random video game fanfic.
Recently I've been playing a lot of Old-School Sonic games. I find it absolutely ENTERTAINING to run my little pixelated hedgehog through all sorts of whack-a-mundo 2-D tracks! 'Tis wery, wery funnnnn!
As far as pairings go... there are just so many...
Um... I guess the easiest way to put this would be that I love non-canon, non-fanon romances! (In other words "Crack!") However, I like them in serious, meaningful formats. Though I do read some, I'm not really fond of the little Crack!y oneshots that are there simply to demoralize or make fun of the pairing. That said, some of my favorites are BulmaxGoku, ShinichixKazuha, CagallixYzak, and RyokoxAlphonse. (Now I know all of you are going WTF?! at that last one...)
My one and only OTP is RyokoxAlphonse. (Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo! - the badass, blue-haired, space pirate - and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist - the mild mannered younger brother of Ed) It would not be within your best interests to ponder as to WHY this is my OTP, for I'm not sure if you could actually come up with anything.
On another note, when I was at A-Kon this year, I had this lovely lady draw me a picture of the two of them together. It is P.U.R.E. LO~O~O~OVE!
I have read everything from Azumanga Daioh to Phil of the Future to Zelda.
I hate to say it, but I LOVE Fanfiction.net. For me, at least, the past has been... forgiven, though not forgotten.
I'm suffering a case of EXTREMELY bad Writer's block... so updates will be a long time in coming... Here are my works in question:
It's My Life
Belladona Kalla (as Bella Granger)
Steven Romano (as Steve Granger)
Mary Sherwood (as Mary Sherwood)
I Once Was a Murderer
The Blood on His Hands
The Diaries of Riku Tsukichigo
The Wrong Side of the Tracks
Death and Rebirth
Home Is Where the Heart Is
魂の宅 - The Soul's Dwelling Place
Some of my stories are under the penname Tomodachigai which is the joint account I share with KairiLuv. I didn't have a working email and account at the time so I just used that until I could get one. The stories there are Death and Rebirth, a multi-chaptered FVII story and Pain is Only the Beginning an angsty Yuriku one shot. (Haha... see a trend? I'm so tired of it...)
Also on that account I have a story I'm writing with KairiLuv.

"That heartless bastard. How could he stand there and say nothing? Do nothing? That’s it. He is no longer my brother. I will only refer to that mother fucker as Sephiroth and nothing more. He has lost all right to be considered my brother." - Riku, The Diaries of Riku Tsukichigo
Even if my arms were ripped off, I'd kick him to death. If my feet were ripped off, I'd bite him to death. If my neck was ripped out, I'd stare him to death. If my eyes were ripped out, I'd curse him to death. So I don't care if I'm ripped to shreds - I'm still going to take Sasuke back! - Naruto, Manga Chapter 303.
Meep. Sora Yuffie
Visit it. It's awesome. I totally, 100 percent support it. In fact, I like it even more than Fanfic. If they had a subscription fee that gave you all kinds of cool stuff, I'd sign up for it. Luckily for me, it's all free so I don't have to do anything.
OFFICIALLY THE LONGEST STORY I'VE EVER SEEN ON FANFICTION.NET:
You know the story of the typical selfinsert? This is not that story.
