It's amazing to know that I've been posting on this site since 2005 and am still around. If FFN weren't full of such friendly and talented people, I doubt I would have managed it. I love everyone's enthusiasm. (Fangirl to me about giant robot anime.)
Announcement, 01 June 2015:
I suppose now is as good a time as ever for this particular announcement, considering Bandai's release schedule lately.
In case anyone noticed the huge gap I left between season one and R2 in my coverage of "Stripped"... I left that gap because I knew I'd be exploring those events separately, later, by writing a short multi-chapter for the "Akito the Exiled" timeline. The story is currently in the works, but - for obvious reasons - I'll need to wait until all the dang episodes are out to post anything (because my usual tendency/practice is to weave slash in believably and tightly through the canon, but I can't, if I don't yet know the canon). The wait has been violently eating at me. HOWEVER.
Look forward to angst, attraction, loopholes, conflict and heartache of the same variety you read in "Stripped." That's what I intend to give you. Bandai has to be finished with Akito's story eventually; that's when you'll see mine go up. Damn it, I am gonna survive all of this waiting!
...So help me Geass, though. If they do anything weird when they FINALLY reveal the truth behind Julius Kingsley, I might for once in my life go "Screw the canon," and just post MY version of where I think the Akito timeline should have gone. TIME WILL TELL. Until then, readers.
Announcement, 05 December 2014:
Happy Birthday, Lelouch... and I've just joined AO3 (under the same username I use here). I am not leaving FFN; nobody has to fear for that. I simply got curious about the hype, and decided to explore AO3 for myself. (I think I'll end up using AO3 mostly for Geass stuff.) FFN WILL REMAIN MY PRIMARY FANFIC OUTLET. If, by chance, I start to post more content that's... more naughty... over there, because it can't go up on FFN... I will be sure to let people know here.
Announcement, 14 October 2009:
I've decided to come up with a method of organizing my Code Geass stories into categories. Or er, well... actually just the ones that focus on Suzaku and Lelouch. I'm still fighting with the specifics, but for now, the breakdown is as follows:
Anfangspiel German for "beginning game," or "starting at the beginning of." Stories that fall into this block will deal with Suzaku and Lelouch's childhood years. They may also cover the canon time period up to when Lelouch discovers it's Suzaku piloting the Lancelot.
Mittespiel Roughly means "center in the middle of." Let's face it, the main chunk of Geass falls into this block. All the back-and-forth drama between Suzaku and Lelouch as the series progresses and they keep hurting each other? Yeah, that's what I'll call Mittespiel.
Endspiel "Final Game." Events that revolve around Zero Requiem.
I will label my Code Geass fics in my summaries, so that readers clearly see which block a story belongs to. If it's NOT labeled, the Code Geass fic spans a lot of time, or involves characters/relationships that I don't delve into frequently enough to create a system for (i.e. random urges for Gino x Suzaku, Suzaku x Euphie, Lelouch x Shirley, or whatever). I think this system makes it fun, because if you're in the mood for Suzaku and Lelouch at a particular stage, you can have it.
Lastly - ANJA-CHAN IS WHY I'M OBSESSED WITH CODE GEASS (and she is the Lelouch to my Suzaku), so it's only natural that I say, "Read her stuff." If you enjoy my work, chances are you might like hers.
