Hello and Welcome

I posted my first ever fanfic on this site in 2005. A few years later, I was so ashamed that I deleted it and a few other early fics. For the life of me, I can't find those stories, and they're probably lost forever. Now, looking back, it makes me sad that I can't go back and see how far my writing skills have come, and the things I've learned in the last few (uhhhhhhhhh many more than few) years.

I believe writing fanfiction provides writers with a chance to develop writing techniques, explore different ideas and settings, and overall, have fun. These stories are a chance to go farther than the original work went or completely rewrite or provide insight into events in that world. It's sappy, and I love it.

As for further news, I'm planning on reworking several stories to follow community guidelines. Never fear, I'll post all of these in their entirety on my Archive of Our Own at some point.
