![]() *I'm so sorry to those who were following my first story, but after writing and rewriting the next chapter I realized it wasn't going in the direction I wanted it to. It wasn't as authentic or as exciting as I wanted it to be. I am currently working on a new story, the start of what I hope to make a series. It will include Pokeshippping of course, among others. I took the advice of some of you who reviewed Time to Face the Music, and I'm confident I can say what I do produce in the next few weeks will be worth the wait. Thank you for your support, and hang tight! I'll be uploading the first few chapters of the new series soon. Follow me on tumblr: rach_ships_aaml My name is Rachael. I’m 25 and I’m an avid Pokeshipper. There’s something nostalgic about it; my very first ship at age 7, and it’s still a big part of my life. I enjoy writing and so I’m going to take a shot at it and start writing some Pokemon fan fiction stories focusing on the ships I support. However, I’m going to try something that I have not seen anyone else (any other sane people, at least) do in their AUs. I'm going to write myself in it. Sounds crazy right? When I fell in love with Pokémon as a child, I could see myself in my own imagination as a trainer and a part of Ash, Misty, and Brock’s adventures. I had all the GameBoy games, and I was OCD about training my Pokémon and beating friends in battle. I was able to escape to my mind (where I am cooler than I am in real life, by far). I guess you can say it was always an alternate reality to me. And even to this day, in my own mind, I can see my character as part of the show. And it’s a part that’s pivotal to the start of a relationship between Ash and Misty, whom I adore as a fictional couple. My goal is to stay true to the series in terms of characters and their personalities. In the future I will incorporate characters that appear later in the series. This concept for me isn’t one with an end, so I intend to work on one long continuous fic, and separate stories that are continuations of my "series," so to speak. Well, wish me luck on this ever-evolving endeavor. No pun intended. -Rachael |
