![]() Author has written 42 stories for Home Improvement, Suite Life series, Legend of Zelda, Cheaper by the Dozen, Harry Potter, and Pokémon. I, Colin Creevey, do solemnly swear to review all the stories I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. I have joined the review revolution I have expanded my field of writing. I will always remain on Fan Fictionand have no immediate plans to leave, but I have expanded my writings to sister website of fan fiction, www.fictionpress.com, and submitted some poems. Stories will come in the summer. My profile is Stormy Calm for those who are interested. Disclaimer: Since I was asked ages ago to add a disclaimer, and I didn't, and I realize the author might be right, I decided to do it via profile: I do not own anything. All the characters belong to either J.K. Rowling, Nintendo, or the most successful TV Company in the world, Disney. The only characters I DO own are new ones I made up, like Jimmy McCallister or Adam Hark. Age: 26 Nickname: Andy Birthplace: Lexington, Kentucky, United States of America Favorite Shows: Home Improvement, (I own all eight seasons on DVD!) Boy Meets World. (Don't get your hopes up. It doesn't necessarily mean I'll write a story for these ALL of them. I just like the shows,) My Wife and Kids, Naruto, Simpsons, Family Guy. Favorite Books: Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson, Robert Langdon, The Mystery Series, (even though it's a children's story,) and Narnia, (Ditto for last,) The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Christmas Carol. Favorite Authors: J.K. Rowling, Cassandra Clare, Enid Blyton, C.S. Lewis, Dan Brown, Charles Dickens. Kind of Music: Country, Pop, Rock, and Walt Disney Classics. Favorite Sport: Baseball. Red Sox Experience: My experience goes back a long way, back to when I was an innocent child living in America. 2nd Grade, we write young authors books about ourselves. I got a good grade. Same thing in third grade. In fifth grade, I did great on a writing assignment, and I received a round of applause when I finished. It received a very good grade, and inspired me to be a writer. What confirmed my desire was six years later, when I was in 11th grade. I wrote a Historical Fiction on World War II, in the point of view of some original characters of mine. This got me 92 percent, the second highest in the class. To this day, two years later, i still got it. I am thinking about posting it here on this site, if I find the appropriate category. In Freshman year, I entered into a writing competition, and made second place. I went down to an English teacher at my old school who also happens to be a student at the University. The next year, I faved her again and this time beat her and now I write for the University newsletter. Policies My Beliefs in Writing: Success never comes from the author alone, but from the readers as well. Sure the writer's are the ones who made the story up, but what if no one read it? In the end, it's the readers and critics who really make a story, a story. This policy gives credit even to those who have no stories written, and keep an account for reviewing purposes. Imagine for a second if Harry Potter was never read? Would Rowling be this successful? What if Lord of the Rings wasn't read and loved all those years ago? Would there even be a movie then? The most embarassing thing to face is to write a story that was never read. I remember a author called MrBillyD saying something. No matter how many hits or reviews you receive, never quit your day job. I will never forget that line. I recently realized that's the line that keeps me going even with the many stories I write that are not getting a lot of hits or reviews. When I Review: Well, when I review, it's never anonymous. I always put in a kind word for the author. As a matter of fact, in all my years of Fan Fiction I only said something bad and negative ONCE. I'm like the opposite of Simon Cowell. Still, I try to be honest. Critisizing a story is something I do through advice. Reason for always having something good to say is because when I review a story, it's because I liked the sumary and it captured my eye, therefore leading to me to reviewing the story, and adding it to my favorites when I do. Further, I usually review every chapter of the story to boost the amount of reivews ther author gets. However, going through October 17th, 18th, and 19th of 2007, I was forced to let everything out and actually flame somebody. Name won't be mentioned in public. I'm better than that. Still, it's all settled now and I don't have to flame anymore, unless I am once again forced to. I only flame people when they flamed somebody I know, of if they flamed me. I never act first. I'm happy to know the three days of warfare ended though, lol. My Favorite Characters: (not necessarily in order.) Harry Potter: Ron Weasley, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood. Narnia: Edmund Pevensie, Lucy Pevensie, Aslan, Reepicheep, and Professor Kirke.
