Obsessions are wrong.

Fanfiction is all about perception. How you perceive the character is how you will portray them. Some may agree, some may disagree, but that is no excuse to get your panties in a bunch. Enjoy what you enjoy. If you love yaoi, good for you. If you hate it, then it's okay. All I'm saying is that you don't preach to those who will never change their minds. There's a difference between expressing your ideas and shoving them down throats.
It took me since I joined this site to realize just how wrong I was in the beginning. Through these...five, six? years, I have learned two things: not everyone will love what I love, and fanservice does the fan injustice whether they want to admit it or not.
So I have summed it all up to this: I come here to read fics and be entertained. I have made it my duty to avoid bad fics and refrain from leaving terrible reviews.
To those who I have angered in the past, or acted like an inexperienced thirteen year old, I deeply apologize and tremendously regret whatever I had done or said.
That being said, to those who have read terrible fanfiction, keep your head up. There ARE great writers out there if you look. Even those who don't seem like it, if they have the charisma, give them time. With age comes experience, and with experience comes a deeper insight that makes a story THAT much better.
So if you're angry with a fanbase or upset with an author, take a deep breath, calm down, and step away from the keyboard. It's just fanfiction!
