Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera.
Hmmm… what to say? Well, the reason for this account was to indulge in my love of Phantom, an obsession I’ve had since I was eight years old. It’s not my only fandom, but it’s my strongest. Labyrinth and X-Men also have a special place in my heart.
I have mixed feelings on the Joel Schumacher movie, though I’ll admit I was crying from “Think of Me” to the end. There’s an incredible potential in the “Phantom” story and I feel filmmakers have yet to find it.
Strong E/C shipper, and Susan Kay fan but I’m open to almost anything as long as it’s well written.
The Paradox of Choice
On hold. Bury Me Standing infected my mind and I cannot concentrate on this adequately while the other story is being written.
My very first fan fiction. This, if anything, had been a lesson in writing. Many mistakes have been made, many lessons learned, and many life events got in the way, but this story will be finished in time.
The idea came to me while I was lying in bed deciding whether I should get up or not, and I had a image of Christine agreeing to stay with the Phantom. While I’d like to believe that everything would be all romance-novel happy if she said ‘yes,’ it doesn’t make for an angsty story and I love angst… boy do I ever.
Bury Me Standing
When I first touched this idea, I immediately dismissed it. Too difficult, and I was already halfway through another fan fiction story.
But it wouldn’t leave me alone and before I knew it, the basic plot was established. Kay background with ALW plot. Explores Christine’s life after Don Juan, and the relationships she finds.
Hope you enjoy it; I’m certainly having a blast writing it!
My beta is the wonderfully, amazing RJDaae. If I had the ideas, she had the clarity. If I wrote the sentence, she fixed it... again and again.
