Author has written 8 stories for Tales of Symphonia, Etrian Odyssey/世界樹の迷宮, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance, Lunar: Eternal Blue, and Tales of the Abyss.
I haven't updated here in ages. I've been dodging the fact that I wrote some of the stuff I have posted here. I'm kinda ashamed of it. But in all honesty, I shouldn't keep making new accounts to post what I've written in the fanfic department. I can't be ashamed of who I am anymore. I'm too old for that. Ever heard of Queen of Spatulas, or better yet, what she used to go as, Goddess Shinko? Yeah. That's me. Just much, much younger than I am now, with a lot less writing classes! I was a stupid rebellious twat in my youth. I'm still kinda stupid sometimes, and I can even be rebellious nowadays, too.
I'm a 24 year old married semi-evil sleep-deprived college dropout turned mommy addicted to Kratos Aurion, text roleplay, and the internet. I moved back to the United States, and now I find my home here in Arizona. My husband is a voice actor for various projects on the internet and in real life, and a stage actor. I have two little girls - a three year old named Anna, and my almost two year old named Jade.
I've written plenty of Tales of Symphonia self-insert Mary Sue fic. I just re-read what I wrote back in '06, and wow. What a crap-fest. I don't even remember where the story was going. Rodyle wanted Memoria and kidnapped Kratos and Yuan to buy her cooperation? WHAT. I'll just be flat out honest. Yes, I LOVE Kratos Aurion. He's my favorite character ever in the history of anything, and he has been since 2004. I have a lot of fluff between Kratos and my OC (aka, me) that fits nowhere in canon and you guys probably won't like. But guess what? I don't give a damn. Give a girl an outlet, okay? If those Twi-tards can be in love with Edward Cullen, then I have swoon over the man that I adore and will never have.
I started my Etrian Odyssey fic. :D Oh you people don't know what Etrian Odyssey is, do you? Well, you should! It's an RPGer's heavenly dream! Make your own team of however many guys you want, sort them into parties of five. You have many classes to chose from and more than unlock as you play. Then, you set out into the labyrinth and your bottom screen (this is on the DS) becomes a map that you draw as you adventure! As your guys level up, then you spend points on abilities that each class can learn. Talk about twink heaven. I love this game and I will tell you of its fun until I completely run out of breath! I also must tell you the game is HARD and requires so much level grinding that normal people don't beat it even after 100 full hours of gameplay. Parts I, II, and III are out now! Oh man, I'm excited about that! YESS!
I also love a lot of older anime like Saint Seiya, Ranma 1/2, Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. I don't like a lot of new anime very much at all. Bleach makes no sense to me. Naruto got old after the first ten episodes or so, even worse with the English dub. I used to really love InuYasha, but I grew out of it once it hit the Bankotsu arc. One Piece is pathetic. I used to follow the Pokemon anime daily when I was a kid, and now I go back to watch it for nostalgia with my girls. They love Pikachu and Pichu so much it's hard to say no.
My favorite video game series are Tales of, pre-PS2 Final Fantasy, the Ivalice Alliance, Dragon Quest, Samurai Showdown, Pokemon, and, of course, Etrian Odyssey. I believe that "TR4Q" in all games! Play with what you like. Don't go along with anyone else's strategy, or you'll never discover something truly unique and awesome. You might find out that it's easier to beat a boss your way than what's in a strategy guide, and that your moveset beats out the moveset on that EV trained Garchomp faster than any Smogoner could predict.
Be unique. Be yourself. Never, ever be bored.
I don't see myself continuing Solar Flares. It lacks any semblance of plot. It's too late to really start one. I had a lot of fun writing it and I hope my sister enjoys it, but I can't seem to work on it anymore.
I do have a fic set in Ivalice started, though I have no idea when I'll be posting it... "Part on the Left" is set after Prince Mewt and Queen Remedi disappear, when a part of Marche's soul remains to deal with the Judge system's corruption. As they start to rule Ivalice themselves, they put a figurehead royal family in Bervenia Palace. A new princess will be crowned queen of Ivalice. Suzuri, a blue mage and the leader of the newly formed Clan Heinze, stands in the middle of the whole mess with Dwaelin, an ex-templar turned dragoon, and Markus, an alchemist - oh and their other clan members, Gillian, Thomas, and Mel.
