Hello, you've stumbled onto the profile of Swaying Cherry Blossoms! Welcome! If you read my stories and would like to know more about me, then you'll find everything right here. If you haven't read my stories but you're curious to know what I'm like, then you'll still find everything right here :
About Me My name is Alyssa and I'm eighteen. I live on Long Island, which is part of New York. I will be freshman at the State University of New York College at Cortland (SUNY Cortland) and I will be majoring in psychology. I have brown hair that's medium length and naturally curly and my eyes are blue. I'm a cross country and track runner, formally a race walker, and I have to say it's probably one of the most important parts of my life. In September I will have been a vegetarian for four years. I have a boyfriend named Rich, who I've been with since January 20, 2008. I love him so much and I can't imagine what my life would be like without him. I have so many wonderful friends that I love with all of my heart, along with a great family that I'm really close to. I drive a 2008 Nissan Versa S in Sapphire Blue, my favorite food is eggplant, and I've been a cashier at Kmart since June 2008, but once I leave for school I'll be done with it! (I hate it soooo much there). I love living my life drug and alcohol-free. I'm one of those people that love having fun, and who always take the time to just stop and appreciate everything and just think, "Wow, I love life."
Interests I love the beach, running, smoothies, shopping, fashion, flowers, green tea, ice cream, taking pictures, staying up all night, my Blackberry Storm, giant purses, sun dresses, the Yankees (big fan!), picnics, summer, big sunglasses, animals, music, reading, writing, the smells of various soaps and lotions, Twilight, getting mail, playgrounds, decorating, laughing, taking care of myself, being healthy and happy

Yes I know, it's a lot (absolute favorites are in italics), and of course it's in alphabetical order because I got it straight off my iPod. This are generally the bands and singers I listen to, and there's others on my iPod but I just don't like them all enough to mention them :
Interesting Fact Back when I was in seventh, eighth, and ninth grade I was obsessed with anime and manga. Like, completely obsessed. It's all I ate, slept, and breathed. Towards the end of ninth grade I totally lost interest in it. However, one night this summer it was like, two o'clock in the morning and I couldn't sleep. So, I go over to this little cupboard on my wall that's filled with manga books and pull out one of thirteen volumes of Fruits Basket that I have (I lost interest after that volume). Right away, I got sucked in. I had forgotten how much I loved Fruits Basket, and how much I completely love the Kyo/Tohru pairing. It was like I was reuinited with an old friend, and right then I was back into it. I probably won't buy any other volumes of it because I basically read the whole thing online after that, plus I had been following the Japanese release long before it all came out in the U.S. when I liked it, so I knew anyway how it ended, but I still wanted to read it again, haha. Then I revisited my Fan Fiction and felt bad at how I abandoned "Her Miracle", so I starting writing it again. Fruits Basket is the only manga I will ever read or be into again, just because it's so cute and everything. Other than that I'm not into anime at all. That was part of my past and probably won't ever be an interest again, although it was fun while it lasted.
Fan Fiction I currenly have one completed story, "Unexpected", and one story in progress, "Her Miracle". I am very picky about what I put on my favorites list, and generally my favorite authors are personal friends or authors that have written more than one story on my favorites. All of my future stories will be only Fruits Basket, and always a Kyo/Tohru pairing. Although, I do have a story in the works already for after "Her Miracle" that has Yuki/Machi too, but that'll be coming someday in the near future.
Thanks for reading my life story! I feel very flattered that you had so much interest in me to read all of it. Take care and don't forget to read and review my stories! :P
