INDEFINITE HIATUS.

wow, i haven't touched this site in forever, huh?

hi, my name's crystalcanon and i write stuff sometimes! i used to be big into fanfiction but i'm mostly a roleplayer nowadays, which is why this account has been collecting dust. if you want to keep up-to-date with my non-ffn adventures, i recommend checking out crystalcanon[DOT]carrd[DOT]co (yes, .co) for links to my other social media.

i might return to fanfiction in the future, so rest assured that i won't be deleting anything here. however, i will be removing links to my pre-2016 accounts since i no longer want to associate myself with some of their content (it's pretty cringe!). if you want to revisit my old prose, please do so using the archive i've built up on my wattpad, a place where i still have the login and thus can laugh at myself in the author's notes. alternatively, you can check out my 2014 harry potter collab fics To Beard or Not To Beard and iCupid.

anddd that's just about everything i have to update you guys on! a huge thank you to all of my readers, especially those of you who've stuck around for almost a decade at this point. a lot has changed over the years, but i can safely say that writing has always been that one hobby i always come back to, which is partially due to the support i've received whilst publishing fanfic. i've still got plenty of room to grow, but i've polished my skills a LOT since posting Shikon High: The School Life! back in 2012, which will hopefully be apparent if/when you check out my more recent stuff. who knows, i might even run into some of you in the rp community! if so, don't be afraid to reach out :)
