Author has written 3 stories for Sweet Valley series, Beauty and the Beast, and Inuyasha.
I hate writing these profiles, I really do - I always have absolutely no idea what to put in them. But it's been a few years since I actually wrote anything to put on here so my previous profile didn't really apply anymore (though sometimes real life does seem enough like highschool that I feel like I never left).
Well I guess we're all writers here so I should probably put in what I like to write. I'm a romantic at heart and seeing as I am fairly limited in my dating options where I live, my love life is lived vicariously through the characters I write so of course I want everybody to be happy. I generally stick to cannon relationships in my stories, as I work better extrapolating on previously existing relationships rather than creating entirely new ones.
I love the classics - Jane Austen is my favourite but I have recently rediscovered Frances Hodgson Burnett and extended my reading to include Elizabeth Gaskell. I'll generally read anything though, from the philosophical texts of Plato and Aristotle to young adult fiction such as the Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare.
I have recently been introduced to the world of Doctor Who (thanks to the fact that there is very little to do where I live except work and drink, and I'm trying to cut back on drinking). So far I've only managed to view the new series' (starting with Christopher Eccleston) but hopefully on my next trip to the 'real world' I will be able to find the originals, though who knows when that will be.
Musically I have a very eclectic taste. My iPod is an interesting collection of musicals, 80s and 90s pop, soft rock, Disney songs, classical instrumental music and an ammalgamation of French and Italian music that I have collected over the years.
As for me, well I'm an Aussie, working as a foreign language guide in Central Australia. Born in W.A., grew up on the outskirts of Sydney (which is not the capital of Australia, just the largest city) and now live in the middle of bloody nowhere, surrounded by red sand and I absolutely love it. I love travelling (hence my work) and have seen a fair bit of Australia, France and Italy. My next adventure will be the U.S. with my sister for three weeks at the end of the year, then possibly Finland where my best friend is about to move. I would love to travel to Russia and Eastern Europe - always been fascinated with it.
I also love meeting new people and making friends, though I'm not very good at it in real life (or online really) since I'm actually pretty shy but if someone makes the first move I'll quite easily pick up the thread and run with it.
So that's me. Hopefully I'll have something new to put up soon, depending on my workload since it's coming into the busy season. We'll see anyway.
