I'm the owner of ArticunoIsland.com / IcePhoenix.com, Faeore! I was widely known as "Arti Cuno" during 98-2006-ish when I was maintaining ArticunoIsland full time and writing a ton of fanfiction and drawing pokemon fanarts. After a hiatus I decided to rip everything from fanfiction.net and move onto writing non fan fiction to see what I was capable of. Still, the desire to come back to pokemon was always there. And Pokemon Go coupled with Sun and Moon really pushed my desires back to writing and drawing pokemon things.
