Hello, world of Fanfiction!
I'm deeply sorry for having been so inactive on my own page. I have many excuses pertaining to this, but I feel only one of them is legit, and shall share it with you (note: this is mostly for my 'Dream Within Worlds' fanfiction, for it's the only one with upkeep. Back in 2011, I had gotten accepted into the Disney College Internship Program, meaning I was leaving my small town in California and living basically on my own all the way in Florida. For those who are not in the states...it's a fair distance away. Over three thousand miles. Thankfully I had one of my best friends with me on that program, but besides that...I was fending for myself. I made lots of friends and had many wonderful experiences there. For seven months I worked full time as a Deep Water Lifeguard at Disney's Waterpark: Typhoon Lagoon. I did not have a lot of online time given my hours (which, admittedly, were not as bad as my roommates who worked in Magic Kingdom), and I did not bring my book with me to use as a guideline. In fact, I rarely read...my poor Lord of the Rings book can attest to the fatalities of bringing a book to work...and reading it right after you've jumped in...OTL.
Anyways! I feel as if the only reason I really returned to the site is because one of my roommates (I had eight. All girls.) was into the site as well (I honestly had the best group or roommates on the planet), and got me full swing into it. I returned back to California in January of 2012 and...well...lost inspiration and couldn't find my book. Tumblr has helped me get re-inspired, as well as The Hobbit (I actually read the book two weeks before the movie came out. I am thus proud of myself), and all of the fanfiction I have been reading. In December I got a review alert for my fan fiction, and...well...I kind of got a bit excited that people were still reading my story, although it's pretty old and...only has five (six now!) chapters. As fate would have it...I am currently incapacitated at home right now with a re-occurrence of tendonitis in my right knee (playing sports doesn't help your body later in life as a child...it ruins it.) and managed to strain my meniscus all while going BACK to Disney World for vacation and to see old friends again. It was fun...especially since the last day I was in a wheel chair and we got to go through the lines. The best one was getting good seats for Fantasmic, second row seats for the Beauty and the Beast show, and not waiting 300 minutes for Toy Story Mania. Of course, for those that DO go to Disney World, I am not condoning you getting a wheel chair for the purposes of line skipping. I was actually injured and just...don't do it. You run into people, the cast members don't like you (I'm friends with them, so...it was all fine and dandy for me), and children stare at you. They also don't expect you to notice them like any other normal human being, so, if you DO get stuck in a wheel chair (it's a pain...ha ha. Get it? Pain? Because you're hurt and in a wheel chair and it sucks...ha?), be sure to just...smile and wave A LOT. Their faces are priceless.
MAIN POINT OF THE STORY: I'm hurt, cannot go anywhere on pain of death else my mother will kill me, and so am going back to writing fan fiction because role playing isn't cutting it for me.
Now here's some personal info for you to enjoy c:
