''we're swimming between the waves- of happiness and disaster. and i don't know any other way than to live just for the day, let the shadows come and carry me away.''
Ren ;; 24. san diego, california. reading/writing obsessed. audiophile. infp type. (old penname: odakota rose)
i'm prone to carrying notebooks for when stories spring to mind fully formed- they never come out the way they're meant to if i wait. i skip capital letters when i'm tired. it's a character flaw, i know, but sometimes they hurt my brain. as you can see, i'm always tired lately.
nanowrimo (national novel writing month). the goal here is 50,000 words in a month; it's insane and brilliant and everybody should try it at least once in their lives.
you can usually find me soaking up the silence in a library, or off in my head day dreaming, or listening to music. i've had color-sound and a rather mild form of grapheme-color synesthesia my whole life- it was something of a revelation that not everyone sees music in color, you know?
i'm an insomniac; sometimes the nights are just easier and i can't always slow down enough to sleep.
my reading tastes are many and varied, i'm always on the lookout for something new to read- recommendations are loved, hugged, and named george.
