Anything by Lois McMaster Bujold, Kurt Vonnegut, Diana Wynne Jones, Sophie Kinsella.

Biographies of Outlaws,

This really cool choose-your-own-adventure Jane Austen book called Lost in Austen, it's amazing,

Recently I'm way into the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, and occasionally I dip into romance novels, but only the good kind! Historical, fantasy, that kind of thing.

Music: Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, Shiny Toy Guns,

the Killers, S.H.E., Fei Lun Hai, the Chieftains, Mozart,

the Amelie Soundtrack, the Lagaan soundtrack, Bond,

and, I'll admit, Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers

Lovers: I used to have quite a (fantasy) listing here, but they have all been replaced (and in good fashion, btw) by my boyfriend of nearly three years, the incomparable Daniel. I love him so much that if I tried to write about it, I'd get terrible writer's block because I don't think I could do my emotions any justice at all.

Case file: Umi-chan:Some things about moi:

I like to learn new things.

I can tap dance.

I am an orange belt in Tae Kwon Do.

I love sweets. Especially Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I could eat a million of those things. People make fun of me for it, since whenever I hear candy mentioned, or think I do, I go 'Candy?' And then it turns out he said 'Grumpy' and not 'Runts' and I feel sheepish.

I love cute things and baby animals. Hello Kitty! Disney princesses!

I'm a girly girl at heart who secretly wishes she were tough like the characters in her stories.

I love love love to write. It is my highest aspiration to be published. I don't even care if I get on any bestseller list as long as there are people in the world whose lives are made even the slightest bit happier while they are reading my book.

Another secret dream of mine was to be an opera singer, but I don't think I have the voice for it.

I would also have loved to have been a ballerina, figure skater, or martial arts master(working on it!).

I lead a rich fantasy life.

I love to read. Sometimes I read instead of doing my homework. If I could get over that addiction I'd probably be a straight A student.

I have an IQ of 141, apparently. (Truth? I dunno.)

I have studied German, Russian, Chinese, and Latin. I love languages.

I have never been to a funeral.

I knit. Mostly socks and small things, but I'm moving on to sweaters. It still amazes me that something useful, beautiful, and wearable can be made from some string and two sticks. To me it's like magic.

I have no idea exactly how some things work. TVs, the internet, lasers, phase changes, chemical reactions...so I see everything with a kind of wonder which I suppose makes me seem simple-minded, but really, I just think everything is a miracle.

I believe in God, I am a Christian, but I really don't buy that anyone who isn't is going to hell. I think that's just a misinterpretation. And silly.

I believe Daniel is my knight in shining armor, even though he always says he's too short to be a knight.

I like making lists. Even when I have only two things to do in a day, I get out some paper and write those babies down!

I am picky picky picky about my pens and pencils. If they don't write just right, with the correct amount of darkness and ease of writing, I toss 'em. I can't handle really light writing, and my pens have to be real smooth. I guess that's my dormant OCD coming out.

I like my Eee PC a lot. It's tiny, and white, and it can do anything! Because of that thing, I am turning into a geek. I can do plenty of stuff from source using a command terminal, and I will master that command line!

I work at a library, and I love it. But I end up taking home half the stuff I'm supposed to shelve, hee hee.

I'm pretty sure I was born in the wrong era. I wish I could wear huge, fluffy dresses all the time. My senior prom dress was super pretty, and the closest I will probably come to that. sigh

I would wear my glasses more if they were the right prescription, even though I really don't feel pretty when I wear them.

I have an older sister who is 33, an older brother who is 29, and a younger brother who is 18. I also have two older siblings up in heaven; they died when they were babies. So, like in that poem, I sometimes call us six instead of four.

My best friend is Mononoke Lynn, you all might know her, my Moki-chan. A lot of my high school friends, even those who still live near me, have lost touch. But my Moki is super awesome, and has never abandoned me! I love her! She is a fantastic singer, a great writer, a violinist extraordinaire, talented, and always encouraging even when my writing was green and not that good! Thank you, Moki, for being my awesomest friend in the whole wide world. Tetsu!

Also, I appreciate any and all readers of my stories! You guys are who I write for, after all! So please enjoy yourselves, don't take my work too seriously, and review, please! I love reviews! I welcome good constructive criticism, so if you have a suggestion for my improvement, please don't hesitate to post it! But please, do it in a tactful and helpful way
