Oh my, I just realized I've been visiting this site for... well since high school and I'm done with my BA now so that's a long long time. I have lots of "favorite" stories but there are a few which have just been so fantastic that when I go back and read the book, watch the movie, etc. I find myself wondering why events aren't unfolding as they did in the fanfic. There really are some talented people here and it makes me wonder why they're not making a living as writers (maybe they are for all I know).
The city I live in is the entertainment capital of the world but we have a horrible unemployment rate and an even worse graduation rate. If I could, I'd move to a small town near the sea somewhere kind of cold.
I'm getting better at being less awkward.
I like talking to strangers. Don't be shy, send me a PM!
I prefer comedy to tragedy except where fanfic is concerned, lol. I can't stress how much I appreciate all the writers here. Fanfic is my ultimate distraction and where I prefer to visit when I'm stressed or bored.
Never put a story up because I never finished one. I've got "notes" that could potentially BE a story if I'd just organize, outline, and fill in the blanks. I ABHOR when people leave wonderful stories half finished, or worse, when they don't know how to end them. Or EVEN WORSE: when the story should be over but they've dragged it out and written themselves into a corner. Also review whores bother me, I try to steer clear of fics with "I'll only update if X or more people review kthxbai!11!!"
Fanfic interests inlude but are not limited to:
The Walking Dead
Elder Scrolls Games
Pride and Prejudice
Phantom of the Opera
In real life my interests include:
Writing letters to people I've never met with inspirational messages
Catching up with friends I've lost touch with and meeting new people
