![]() Author has written 23 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Rurouni Kenshin, and Sherlock Holmes. Hello fellow consumers of the fan fiction bazaar. I am your hostess of the moment, Daughter of Chaos. Other names and acronyms I also respond to include: DoC and Azuhra. My real name, for any one who may be interested, is Rebecca. I am a 30-something university graduate that works in dentistry. I have loved fan fiction since the day I discovered it and I have read it for nearly all of my favorite shows and books. However, so far, I've only written fan fiction for a few fandoms. I don't always update in a timely fashion on my stories. However, I do my best to finish them even if it may be years later when they are finally completed. As for my hobbies. I enjoy reading real books when I get the chance, mostly sci-fi or fantasy. I love to look at artwork and create artwork. I have a fine collection of fan art to prove it _(). I enjoy hiking and fishing when the weather permits. In the mean time, I collect things – everything from Gohan figurines to stuffed Grumpy Bears from Care Bears. My collection is somewhat large and very eclectic. My serious winter past-time is gaming. Some counsel, some computer. (All though my computer gaming has increased dramatically since the release of Guild Wars 2 *cough*) As to other fandoms -- I do have them. Really! It can't be all about the anime! As of 2011 I developed a fan obsession with anything Sherlock Holmes. (Go John Watson!) --Gohan -- My favorite character in DBZ is by far an away Gohan, followed by Piccolo. I saw the series first in the dubbed version. However, the release of the series on DVD has given me the opportunity to see it fully in Japanese with subtitles. I like it much better that way. Why Gohan, you ask? He has a lovely potential for story writing. Angst, drama, action, humor-- you name it and you can write that boy into it. He was also a delightfully beautiful teenager. --Sanosuke -- My favorite character in Rurouni Kenshin is Sagara Sanosuke, followed by, well, the rest of the Kenshingumi. I was introduced to the show long before, but not fully involved until it hit Cartoon Network. I've since bought most of the DVDs and all 28 volumes of the Manga. Good stuff. Why Sanosuke? I love his bad boy personality, and it doesn't hurt that he is beautiful to look at. On to my stories. #Rurouni Kenshin I write stories for Sagara Sanosuke. My goal is to write non-romance stories as that section could certainly use more of them. Some have been angst, some have been humor, and some action. My other goal is to injure/torture/harass Sanosuke. So far, both goals have been well met. On-Going Stories: Of Sake and Row Houses (Prompt fills and ficlets abound) Incomplete Stories: The Cost of Protection (edit Jan 08, 2011: Where did my muse go? I have an ending and everything but can't kick myself into gear to write the middle. Wut?) #Dragon Ball Z I write stories for Son Gohan. Most of these are non-romance. The exception being my one romance series, “The Bathos Series.” The Bathos Series (in order): Mala in Se Incomplete Stories: Life, Love, and Just Deserts #ACD's Sherlock Holmes and BBC's Sherlock I have no excuse for myself. I have unfinished stories in other places and then I go and get addicted to a new (old, very old!) fandom. I've read all of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original Sherlock Holmes stories and have recently got into watching BBC's modernized version, Sherlock. I'm a Dr. John H. Watson fan -- you have been warned! |
