Salutations, reader, and welcome to my profile! :-)
(You can also find me on Archive of Our Own under the pen name.)
I am the author formerly known as Morfiwien Greenleaf. After a great deal of consideration, I have decided to change my pen name to something a bit more pronounceable, without sacrificing too much of the name recognition I've built up over the years. The new pseudonym was inspired by Marianne Dashwood.
I am a writer in my personal and professional life, and I especially enjoy dabbling in fanfiction. I tend to write fanfic for eclectic, lesser-known fandoms: If there isn't enough fanfic out there, I feel driven to create some, so I'll have something to read!
My reading interests span several fandoms, but when it comes to writing, my main fandoms are The Music Man (1962 film version, but the beauty of it is you can imagine whichever actors you want in most of my fics!) and, to a lesser extent, Guys and Dolls.
For those who are inclined to wade through the sheer number of Music Man fics in the MG Universe and would like to read them in some semblance of order, you might find this segmented chronology helpful:
Building a Life Together: The Courtship of Marian Paroo
Walking the mostly-straight and a bit-wider-than-narrow might just prove to be Harold Hill’s biggest challenge yet. As he and Marian Paroo explore their burgeoning relationship and weather the bumpy road of courtship, they discover true love isn’t exactly the fairytale ending portrayed in Marian’s beloved books. But as their love for one another continues to grow, the music professor and librarian realize their romance is far better than any fiction.

As they draw even closer through happy moments and misunderstandings, the Hills revel in their love for one another, and when Marian surprises Harold with the news that he is going to be a father, they eagerly set about planning for a future with their new child. But when Fate blesses them with not one child, but two, the bombastic professor and well-ordered librarian soon discover that being the parents of vivacious and mischievous twin daughters will forever change them – and for the better.
