Hello! I've been writing fanfic since 1995, starting off with The X-Files (under the name of Pellinor) and from there going through a variety of fandoms, including a very prolific two years spent writing Stargate Atlantis fic. I've been mostly "between fandoms" for a few years, although I have written a few one-off stories in various fandoms in that time. Now I've suddenly found myself struck with the urge to write stories about one of my oldest obsessions - The Lord of the Rings, which first consumed my imagination when I was 9, and positively devoured it again when I was 14. I'm therefore returning to this site after a long absence... if I can remember how to use it!

Although I have written one or two non-gen stories in the past, I'm a gen girl at heart. I like long, plot-filled stories with large amounts of character exploration, although I have written plenty of shorter stuff, too. In past fandoms, I have spent much of my time subjecting my favourite characters to wounds and injuries, although I feel less urge to do this in my current fandom.

In real life, I'm a children's librarian. I love fantasy novels, history, folklore, gaming, role-playing, walking, cats, traditional song and dance - and writing, of course.

I have posted most of my stories on fanfiction.net, but not quite everything. Parodies, humour, drabbles and one-shots written for LJ challenges don't tend to show up here.
