Mutsu Enmei Ryu: Shura no Toki is the anime that I have drawn inspiration from completely for my new story. I highly recommend this anime to all martial arts /feudal war fanatics everywhere.

The father is pretty much identical to the main character of the first arc with the traditional short sword on the back of his waist. His son will more or less look the same when he gets to be 16-20 except with a slightly different hairstyle~Mutsu men look nearly identical when they're 20 x_x;
