When I first found this site, I never dreamed that it would become so useful or have so many wonderful outcomes, including wonderful friendships that I hope will last a lifetime! We support each other through writing and in our personal lives and the only downside is that each of us lives so far apart from one another.
I started writing fan fiction before I even knew what it was, having gotten an idea from a post on a "Days of Our Lives" message board when the fans of Jack and Jennifer were frustrated with the lack of story lines for such a wonderful couple. Someone made a suggestion which sparked an idea and my first story was born. Then later came multiple stories for "One Life to Live" when again I was frustrated with the lack of story lines for the couple of Michael and Marcie. And when I decided to try my hand at writing a "Monk" story, someone suggested that I post my story on this site.
Over time I began to enjoy writing stories more and more, branching out into shows like "Frasier" and "Seinfeld" as well as several movies and have acquired several wonderful friendships in the process. I always enjoy reading the comments that people are kind enough to leave and I try to write my stories so that it's not necessary to watch the show in question by providing some background. But for those who do watch the shows, I like to keep things in character as much as possible, although sometimes it's fun to steer away from the "norm."
I have posted over 300 stories so far and I have a feeling that soon I'll be headed for my 400th, definitely some time this year! ! I have no plans to stop anytime soon and my goal is to one day find enough material to write an extremely long story that people will be happy to keep reading until they get to the end! But my ultimate goal at the moment is to finish all of the stories I have been working on for so long. I currently have over 20 to finish but I'm hoping to accomplish that goal by the end of the year. I'm sure I will have posted a lot more stories by then as well but I love the feeling of accomplishment that I get when I finally finish a story. However that feeling also comes with a bit of sadness at times.
That being said, thank you for visiting my site and I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to look through my long list of stories and even more so, taking the time to comment on them. BTW, I do have two other in-progress non-fan fiction stories posted on the sister site for this board under the name iloveromance1 in case you are looking for something that isn't related to movies or television. I've kind of put them on hold due to writer's block so if you have any suggestions or ideas, I'd love to hear them!
