Effectively it is as if Unexpected Consequences had been like playing a role play game at the novice level. The Core War tale has a far harder set of challenges. While not a sequel, this story assumes that you've read Unintended Consequences.

The Triwizard Tournament ends with tragedy. One champion is left dead, two more maimed, and one missing and presumed dead. And now Harry Potter finds himself on a strange island with a strange woman and no idea just how to get back home to Hogwarts.
