Woah an update!
Hello! I just wanted to let any passers-by know that this account is slowly becoming obsolete. My intention is to republish all of these stories and possibly add a new one, all under a new name: AnnaBlack02. I want the stories to be improved upon, grammatically and whatnot, and maybe add some details, and for some of them change some plot and characters around so that they're not so cliche or out-of-character.
So: be on the lookout! AnnaBlack02 is my new penname (firstname.lastname@example.org is my email address for that name).

Re-reading some of these stories... man. They have got to go. Well, not go, per se, but they must be edited. And so they shall be. Bear in mind that a few of these were written by me in the 6th grade or something. I'm at the choose-a-college point in my life now, so my writing has changed drastically. My 6th grade grammar will be fixed... as soon as I get the time. I re-wrote all my summaries, too, in hopes of continuing to drawm readers.
Also, I'm thinking of publishing these on harrypotterfanfiction.net. I've already published Have at You, as it appears to be a favorite of everyone. It draws the most reviews. My name at hpff.net is AnnaBlack02. Same goes for MNI-- I'm going to publish the rest of these there, too, and my name is AnnaBlack02 at that site also. I've already published Have at You at MNI.
Keep reading! And although my fanfiction writing has dwindled, I constantly visit the site. Don't be afraid to review. I have 6000 hits on You Like Me too Much for pete's sake. I should have 6000 reviews! :) Just kidding.

Hallo all! Look, a real live update. Woohoo! I've gotten a lot of new reviews overthe summer and a few new favorites/alerts, which makes me feel pretty happy, so I just wanted to say thanks a bunch for not ditching me, guys!
MNI is working! Huzzah for MuggleNet. Only took them 3 years! My name is AnnaBlack02 on MNI and I'm thinking of re-publishing some of these stories on it just to see if I get new readers and stuff. Who knows; maybe I'll pop out a enw story one of these days. =)

I'm going through a stage of writer's block right now. I've had it for about four months. But if— when I get over it, I don't think I'll be writing anymore fanfiction.
In the begining I used it as a way to simply finish a story. I was never capable of writing anything and finishing it before fanfiction. I think that it was easier with fanfiction because the characters that I used (I mostly used minor or peripheral characters... or characters that didn't have too much known about them) already had a bit of a background to them that I could simply build upon. I didn't have to come up with a history, and I didn't have to explain it, because you, as the readers, already knew about them. It was almost like cheating, except not nearly as bad.
But now I've reached the point where I want to write my own stories. When I was writing fanfiction, I was using things and people and ideas that weren't mine ( for the most part). I want to write things that people will want to read anyway, even though it's not about his or her favorite Harry Potter character.
And don't think I'm dissing fanfiction, because I'm not. Fanfiction is the reason I started writing— I used to hate writing before then! It's great for young writers to help them start off, and it's fun for older writers, too. Harry Potter is still my favorite book, and Jo Rowling is still my hero (along with John Lennon = ).
So even though no one will probably read this, if someone comes accross my stories again, they will know.
And no matter what, I still love reviews. =)
