"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."
Hello all. I am a 21 year old college student living with my parents in the backasswards of nowhere, just trying to make my way in the world and entertain a few people along the way. I'm into my fourth year of a two-year college (I know...-lesigh-), so I don't have a lot of free time on my hands to write. I write original fiction and fanfiction. I honest-to-God can't understand how people continue to like my work. I'm really not that great a writer. In fact, I kind of suck. Feel free to try and convince me otherwise but until I get a book deal and millions of dollars I'm not going to believe a word of it.
Feel free to send me prompts or requests for fanfics you would like to see from me, however, know that depending on the rating, fandom, or pairing I reserve the right to refuse your request. I freely write yaoi and het fics, but I'm not that good at writing yuri so if that's what you're into, sorry but you're not going to be satisfied here. It's not that I don't support yuri pairings, it's just that I'm not good at writing them. We all have our talents, and mine just isn't that.
Feel free to send me prompts to my email or through private message, and I will do my best to answer those requests in a timely manner, but please remember that I am in college and therefore do not have a lot of free time, especially right now as I'm currently in school and I do have a part-time job and I see a mental health specialist on a regular basis while I deal with anxiety issues and a case of the college stressies. Depending on the length of the fanfic requested, I will try to give you a rough timeline as to when it will be done and posted.
Also, I am free to beta edit any fanfics you request me to beta. E-mail me the chapter as is and I will correct spelling, grammar, and sentence structure, because I am what is affectionately referred to as a "total grammar Nazi".
I also have a ridiculous vocabulary so I may change a few words around to make you sound smarter if'n ya so desire. For instance, I have used this following passage in my writing before and gotten away with it:
"Richard looked out of the dusty windowsill to the turbid spring sky with his newborn son in his arms and he broke. May's irascible raindrops fell from their monochromatic Heaven to litter France's svelte landscape with icy blues and frigid silvers, wiping out the whole of Richard's fractured psyche from the rushing waterfall of eternity from that day to the end of days. The gelid shadow looming over the spring season broke away from the calefacient, carmine gore that was his wife's mangled corpse on the operating table. She lay under the bright, sterile white lights that did her delicate Asian beauty no justice. The turbulent and terrible sound of the raging tempest outside clashed strangely with the eerie, barren silence that permeated the thick air inside.
It was dark and chaotic outside the hospital's walls, like the last energetic war cry of some dying God come to perish. Good night, Richard thought, good night, tonight, and all nights; for day would never come for Richard Calixte LeRêve again. It would always be night for his mind now, a night that would never end. In truth, Richard found that he did not want it to. To forget this day would be betraying the woman he'd loved so fiercely. At that moment, one life was gained, and two were lost. As Droiture squalled and squirmed in his father's trembling arms, Richard felt the last shreds of his ruined soul whisper into the void that was his mind before quietly vanishing into the shadowy spring sky. 'Till death do us part...'till death do us part...'till death do us part.
Richard dared one last heated gaze at his cold and bloodied wife, and the last thing he saw of her was her haunted jade eyes, wide open in the throes of death, staring lifelessly and desperately up at a God who had abandoned her in her time of need. Those fiery emerald eyes that used to captivate him were now desiccate and vacuous, with nothing left for him but a glassy window clouded with the smoke from the extinguished beryl flame that used to blaze so brightly within.
Richard wrenched his eyes away, and stared blankly back out of the dusty window, and saw a single butterfly, fluttering crimson wings to dodge the raindrops in search of shelter from the storm. It climbed higher and higher into the aphotic atmosphere, as if searching for some mythical nirvana, a paradise in which to brave the unending pandemonium that was life. With a final rattling breath, Richard sent the last note from his living soul with that butterfly. Find us a Heaven, Chouko. Fly us away from here, and find an Eden in which we can both be at peace."
--Jusqu'a la Mort Nous Separe, prologue: Until Death Do Us Part (original fiction work)
That is a real passage from the real prologue of my real novel which I'm really writing and I really hope to get published. I might try to get the prologue published as a short story and let people create their own ideas off of it. Basically, I want you guys to be able to make fanfiction based off my story.
Also, I run a very successful RP Twitter account under the name @GodKingMephiles. Go follow me. I'm the God-King of Soleanna.
Anyway, that's all from me. I will leave you with one of my favorite passages I have ever found in my travels through the internet, though it comes from a much older media. If anyone knows the exact placement of the following passage in the proper religious text it comes from, PM me so I can cite it properly.
“Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from following after thee; for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God; where thou diest, I will die, and there will I be buried; the Lord do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me.”
