Author has written 8 stories for CSI: Miami, Twilight, Song of the Lioness, Prince of Persia, and X-Men: Evolution.
I'm not gone!! Just been dealing with chronic health issues for several years. But I woke up today really missing Rogue and Remy. So I've dug out all my Enemy of Enemy notes and started working on it again.
Greetings and welcome.
I'm Layla, a crazy busy full time aircraft engineer. Writing, drawing, and cardmaking are my ways of stretching my non-technical brain muscles. It's nice to think about things beyond control algorithm development and performance analysis.
I'm a huge X-Men fan, although I have less experience with the comics than I do with the various TV series and the movies. I'm currently hooked on X-Men: Evolution. However, regardless of what universe of the X-Men I'm playing in, I'm a die hard Romy fan. I just love Rogue and Gambit. I'm a big softie for Wolverine too.
I like stories that blend action, humor, romance, and a well defined plot. Basically anything that lets my brain escape the world of Isaac Newton for a while.
I'm once more working on The Enemy of My Enemy. And I'd love to complete the He Ruined a... trilogy. But I haven't come up with a good idea yet.
I haven't abandoned Been This Way Before. I still have plans for Dastan and Tamina, but they aren't a high priority these days. (The more you encourage me, the more I am motivated to get back to this one!)
And I might get around to the final chapter of Nights in the future. It doesn't really need it, but I like closure.
My CSI:Miami stories I wrote in college. Oh my. I'm not sure why I leave them there. Enjoy them if you wish. Along with the one Twilight story I wrote before I tired of the series.
If you're stopping here to read something of mine, I hope you enjoy it. Please drop me a line and let me know what you think. Feedback is a wonderful thing! If I'm taking too long to get a new story/chapter posted send me a pm. I'd love to chat.
