Cleaning up my profile, stories and favorites. Everything is cluttered with stuff I haven't read in a long time, or won't update.
Tips for fellow authors as an avid reader:
Summaries are very important, do not underestimate the power of a well planned and thought out summary!
Tip 1: DO NOT write 'i suck at summaries lol' at any point in your summary, or 'better thn it sounds, i promis!' for that matter. Just by writing that you are letting the readers know that you suck at summaries and thus probably at storytelling and grammar.
Tip 2: Spell check . . . By God in heaven please remember that the summary box does not have spell check and that as a human being you will make mistakes. Prewrite your summary in Word or something. And use proper capitalization.
Tip 3: Keep your target audience in mind. Think of the summary as the back of your Internet novel. People read it and the title before they go anywhere near the first chapter so reeling them in with the kind of story they want to read is a must. Remember that someone looking for a good romance story or angsty type drabble will not want to read something that gives away the ENTIRE plot in the summary. Tease them with a hint of what awaits.
Tip 4: Choose your title carefully, and format the title in an appropriate book format. Certain words need capitalization, others don't.

--Clocks; The thin line between the surrealism of his nightmares and the waking world seems to snap when he gets a surprise visit from one of his previous victims. Johnny knows Edgar couldn't possibly be there because neither the doughboys nor nailbunny can see him. Something is telling him that the system is breaking and as time goes on it seems that with every visit he gets from the other man the closer he comes to doing something that may cause the destruction of every last piece of security he's managed to collect over the eight years he's been living in house # 777. Nny's monster has a hold on something it knows is special because not all victims are created equal.
