Author has written 6 stories for Legend of Zelda, Phantom of the Opera, and Sailor Moon.
Hi there, welcome to my Profile of Crazy. Take off your coat and stay awhile.
Statistics! (/sarcasm/ Because I know how much everyone cares! /sarcasm/)
Name: Isabelle, or Issie. Or Sisi, if you are feeling groovy.
Lives: In fabbity-fab New York City
Sex: Female (hence the "Lady" Lukia)
Favorite Books: Prince Ombra by Roderick MacLeish. Highly overlooked, but it is one of the best books I've ever read. I am also quite a Shakespeare nerd, my favorite of his works being King Lear.
Favorite Movies: Intolerable Cruelty and Memphis Belle. And, naturally, Monty Python & the Holy Grail. You have to be insane to not like that movie, or in my case, not watch it religiously every weekend.
Favorite Song: Hmm, tough decision, but I've got to say "Let it Be" by The Beatles.
Favorite TV Show: House, M.D. 'Cause Hugh Laurie is such an adorable snark!
Favorite Anime: Azumanga Daioh
Favorite Fanfic of All Time: As far as comedy goes, nothing tops Hey, OCARINA! The Cheesy Zelda Musical by the ever-amazing Galaxy Girl. Long live the queen of parody! But for romantic/dramatic goodness, Demons by Wandering Child is simply the best. Never before have I read a better Phantom story. It's goddamn brilliant. Check it out, it's on my favorites list.
Likes: Planning elaborate practical jokes, spaghetti, strawberries dipped in chocolate, roller coasters, sleepovers, dressing up, running. What can I say; I'm eternally ten years old at heart.
Dislikes: I won't name names, but CERTAIN AUTHORS who have nothing better to do than write sleazy hentai. Also, Spanish.
Strong Points: Sarcasm and wit. What most people would define as "smartassery."
Weak Points: Procrastination and insensitivity. And the occasional hypocrisy. And Spanish, which is probably why I dislike it (see above).
My Ultimate Wish: That we all started randomly dancing and singing whenever the moment seemed right, like in the musicals. Like, in the cafeteria during lunch. Wouldn't that be SWEET?...Come on people, curb your enthusiasm now. Let's not go crazy.
Celebrity I Want To Snog The Most: Well, of course I love Ewan McGregor (I swear, one of these days I'm going to kid nap and have him serenade me with "Come What May" and give me shoulder massages for the rest of our lives), but I also have this perpetual crush on Brad Pitt. Like, Troy-style. All hot warrior and stuff...I'll shut up now. Also, strange as it seems, I have always had the HUGEST crush on Dimitri from the animated Anastasia movie. Before you go about thinking I'm crazy, I insist that you go and watch the movie, then come back and tell me that he ISN'T hot for an animated character.
Habitual Expressions: "What the jig?" when confused...and when peeved, "Damn. Double damn."
Favorite pairings include:
Seiya & Usagi from Sailor Moon (Definately a favorite. I love Seiya to death and back, and I really adore this couple.)
Erik & Christine from Phantom of the Opera
Elphaba & Avaric from Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
Glinda & Avaric from Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
Link & Nabooru from The Legend of Zelda (However, at the end of the day I will always sail the good ship Zelink)
Stuff That's Up and On the Run:
My Love, My Link (complete): Oh, God. I had such a giddy fangirl fun time writing this, but looking back on it now it seems so mushy and over the top. But I love love, so what do I care? Mushy is niiice.
Promises Fulfilled (temporarily ABANDONED!): This is my baby, and has been put on hiatus while I curse my existence. Why would I do that, you ask? Maybe because I overwrote my nutured, precious third chapter with my English midterm essay. I swear, I kinda went insane when I realize what I did. I am going to resume writing it one day, I swear. Just not...right...now...Hey, we gotta expand the Link/Nabooru section somehow, do we not?
Teardrops on Silk (complete): I wanted to name this Tears on A Silk Brocade, but I know that half the people who came across it would be repelled by the word "brocade." This is fluffy semi-angsty tragic mush at it's mushiest. All the E/C shippers might find this worthwhile.
Reflection (complete): Sad-ish little oneshot about Usagi and Seiya's relationship. This is one of the few things I've written that I'm actually really proud of. Yet, it has no reviews. :emotear:
The Things I'll Never Say (in progress): Juicy Seiya and Usagi goodness. I feel really confident about where this is going.
Just To Get By (complete): I think I've figured out why I like writing oneshots so much: No commitment required. I'm so bad about updating and I always end up on guilt trips when I, you know, totally forget about stuff that's in progress. Anyhoodle, this is angsty, I suppose. After all, when I think "casual sex", i think of misery and wrist-slashing. Except, you know, not really. Nevertheless, this is a look at what things would be like if Link and Zelda were friends with benefits. Or, more fittingly, emotionally-detatched accquaintances with benefits. Yummy.
