Author has written 9 stories for Fruits Basket, Crow, Puppet Master, Hellboy, Beetlejuice, Labyrinth, Edward Scissorhands, and Hocus Pocus.
Alright, alright! I'll finally fill this section out since it's been sitting here empty for quite some time and I'm sure you're all just dying to know about little ol' me, aren't you? So, where to begin?
Well, name's Michaela but I go by like a thousand different aliases, depending on where across the internets I'm lurking. I hardly ever use my real name, since I have a paranoid fear of internet stalkers, but I'm gracing you guys with the truth of my identity. Aren't you blessed? I'm 25 years of age and that lands me at a quarter of a century old. Positively ancient, I tell you. I'm a university student, pursuing a degree in either General English Studies or with an emphasis on Linguistics. I do quite a bit of flip-flopping on that decision.
I'm a writer. Or that's what I tell myself. The one e-Book I've published and the several half finished documents on my hard drive would argue. And fanfiction writing is, frankly, a guilty pleasure. But a pleasure it is. And so, I tend to fairly broad in my range of my genres and fandoms. I don't really write about anime anymore, as I've lost virtually all interest in it, but I do have an OLD (and probably crappy) Fruits Basket story up. I won't rewrite it mostly because I'm scared to look at it again. I've got a short fic for The Crow, one for Puppet Master, something that floats in and out of my brain regarding Hellboy II, and the most recent piece of fiction involves Beetlejuice.
I have a taste for all things spooky, creepy, creepy-cute, and odd. I'm a fan of poets like Edgar Allen Poe, Robinson Jeffers, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Most of the books I read tend to be of the nonfiction variety and involve topics such as Goth etiquette, candle magick, and practical Japanese. I'm borderline Goth, an eclectic Pagan, and a Gothic Lolita advocate. I drink coffee like nobody's business and I'm having a love affair with tea. When I remember to eat, I quite enjoy sushi, some Chinese cuisine, Italian pasta, and tuna sandwiches. I'm not that hard to please. Absinthe would be my poison of choice, followed closely by my beloved tequila.
I'm also an avid blogger, so if you're interested in those, send me a pm and get the links.
Same goes for my published e-Book: Anything But Monochrome. I used to have the original version up at FF's sister site FictionPress but after a solid rewrite and some vehement disagreements with literary agents, I decided to self publish. I'm selling it on Amazon Kindle for $3.50 and if you don't have a Kindle that's cool because the APP is free for the PC.
Also, if you're interested in finding me on Youtube, I do have an account and post semi-regular videos on various topics under the username: Akumaxkami. Look me up.
