Of course not Keitaro's promise girl ,that would be ridiculous, but of Negi Springfield of Mahou Sensei Negima. Both Love Hina and Negima are famous mangas of Ken Akamatsu. Fortunately the author gave hints that both exist in the same universe.

Negi is an Anti-Keitaro being cool British 10 year old 3rd all girls middle school teacher and mage which the girls fawn over but in Love Sara Negi is of course that except he gets in very Keitaro around Sara Mcdougal who is a 12 year old American 1st year middle school student of Mahora All Girls Academy.

Sara McDougal is the only LH character that has not shown the same type of affection to Keitaro as the other girls in the series run. But in Kanako's scoring it indicates that Sara likes Keitaro in more than friendship being at the score of 62, 50 is the highest for friendship any beyond that is love. We can't blame Ken for not casting more of a character development on Sara since she is 9 then 10 years of age at the end of Love Hina.

Keitaro is becoming more and more like Seta his mentor, Sara's adoptive father. So the formula is Love Hina-ish

Keitaro = Seta

Sara = Naru

Negi = Keitaro
