Favourite Music: Art music. What most people refer to as classical music, quite incorrectly. At the moment, the Queen of the Night's Vengeance Aria from The Magic Flute, The Kidnapping from the Seraglio Overture, Chopin's Prelude in E Minor and Nocturne in C Sharp Minor, Five for Fighting, Handel's Messiah, The Prayer, When at Night I Go To Sleep (from Hansel and Gretel), and anything by Thirsty Merc, Elton John, Arcangelo Corelli, Georg Frederic Handel, Antonio Vivaldi, or Johann Sebastian Bach. Also most operas and operettas. I have very weird tastes. I know. Please don't tell me again.
Favourite Plays: I am a Shakespeare fanatic. Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, Othello, Macbeth, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merchant of Venice. Also The Mechanics and Jane Eyre.
Right! Now you've read my life story, you might want to get around to reading my stories. Reviews are always appreciated. I know I don't deserve any, what with the frequency of my updates lately, but pretty please?

I have bad news - I am taking Stormy Grey Eyes down for editing. No, don't yell at me, someone's already done that. Literally. It should be back up within the next couple of weeks, as my workload is easing off. Heir of the Lion will be undergoing the same process eventually, when I get around to it. I've been up to my neck in everything - school, a serious family illness, music, lots of assessments, a huge liturgy commitment until the end of September, and now another recital to prepare for.
Very strange request - if any fellow opera buffs out there would know where I could find the music for "Der Holle Rach", the Queen of the Night's vengeance aria from Mozart's The Magic Flute, or if they have a copy, could they please send me an email or private message or whatever to let me know where I could find it? I would be forever grateful, as I'm supposed to sing it for a recital this term and I have not the foggiest of how I'm supposed to find the music. I'm also starting to get slightly panicky - it's a wretchedly hard piece to sing, as you'd know if you ever heard it. Help me!
Anyway, hope everyone's having a great time, keep reading, and keep smiling!
