Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter. Hey, I'm Bee! You may remember me as evil-mastermind666, or that weird kid with the glasses and the trombone. ((PATHETIC BAND JOKE ALERT: I love Harry Potter fanfics, especially Hermione/Severus ones. :D I have expanded my horizons to include such madness as Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride and Prejudice, Moulin Rouge, the Lord of the Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the Phantom of the Opera. Swoon! Oh, needing more information than this, got it. Err, I'm 19 years old and female, I've lived in Canada since birth, I'm now a university student (high school was hell mostly, and I'm quite glad that it's all over with. Not that things will suddenly stop going wrong, but now there will hopefully be less drama and pageantry attached to it. A vain hope, perhaps), I speak fluent English and rather broken French (conjugating verbs, certain swears, and a couple simple phrases are pretty much all I've got left. I'm terribly lazy :S. Considering how much I love Les Miserables and the Phantom, you'd think I'd try and get back into the saddle, as it were.), I go on lengthy tangents (can you tell?), I procrastinate like you wouldn't believe so don't expect a heck of a lot of frequent updating, I talk almost exclusively to myself or walls or my cat, despite my Catholic upbringing (don't hold it against me, it's not like I chose it) I'm a slash (and femslash) fan, I'm desperately in love with men who wear dramatic black cloaks or are intellectual and mature (or both, rawrr...), and I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. :P The one thing to do that is sure to make me infuriated beyond all is to use terrible grammar. If people would take the time to learn the difference between "your" and "you're", "their" "they're" and "there", and that no plural EVER requires an apostrophe even if it's a proper noun... If you're (see! correct usage IS possible!) new to English as a language it's cool (just don't do it again :P), but if you've been speaking (or attempting to) it for your whole life you've got no excuse. I could rant all day about this, but I should stop now. I really must stop doing the tangent thing too. Note on the following fiction: Concerning LS&WM - I added a subtitle so now it's called: "Lecherous Snape and Whoremione: Seeking Redemption". Someone pointed out to me that the original title was a bit off-putting and misleading. Let me make it clear, LS&WM is NOT SMUT. I can't write smut. So I stick to my strength: slightly angsty dialogue interspersed with mildly interesting plot and irritating cliff-hangers. :P Updates will probably be coming soon, in the next week or so (September 12?). But don't hold me to it. Concerning IDAD - there will be no epilogue. Full stop. It's caused me too much grief trying to recover old files and compile odds and ends (and I do mean odds and ends - I wrote some parts on single sheets of paper that I lost days later but found months later after I'd abandoned that general idea...) to make something resembling an epilogue. Plus, it's a silly fic, and I don't really want to waste my time on such an oldie. Maybe I'll rewrite it... in the summer when I have time. Concerning various one-shots - If it says complete, it's complete. Only earnest supplication in the form of reviews with something for my muse to chew on could ever induce me to promote them from one chapter to more-than-one chapter. That and shameless flattery. Though that one's less certain. Self-esteem thing. Concerning hobbits... I mean, future fics - The ol' noggin is always churning something out, unless vast amounts of real-life stuff get in the way. Like illness, death, taxes, school, friends, seeing the sun (you wouldn't be able to tell I ever saw the sun in my life but that's the Irish -English heritage showing), stress, did I mention illness? Not usually mine either... In any case, I'm hoping to maybe possibly somewhat start writing fanfiction for other fandoms (or phandoms, as the case may be :P. Admirers/rabid phans of Erik unite! Mmm, swishy cloak.). I might've started a Lord of the Rings fic, but I also might've abandoned it because I'm a little scared of moving outside of my comfort zone. Plus, the subject has probably already been beaten to death. Well, you'll know what I'm talking about if I ever finish then post it. UPDATE 9/04/07: I've just moved into residence at my university (YAY!!!) and it's orientation week so of course I'll find some nook and write a couple drabbles to get to what could be considered plot to LS&WM. I'd like to finish it sometime this decade, but who knows with me. Terrible procrastinator, terrible! |
