I'm not a very interesting person, so I'll keep it short.

My hobbies include collecting, usually much of anything associated with anime or preferably manga. This includes but is not limited to Zoids models, funny-smelling figurines that refuse to stand up (stop nose-diving off my shelf, Sesshy!) volumes and volumes of manga, and a small collection of anime DVDs. I enjoy reading classic literature, and some fantasy (as long as it doesn't involve elves, vampires, werewolves, other Tolkien-races, other derivative mythical beings, and in some rare cases dragons. Yeah, that leaves precious little, which is exactly why I'm so sick and tired of the genre.) Some of my favorite novels include most of the Redwall series, War and Peace (Natasha and Prince Andrew forevuh!), Moby Dick, Watership Down, Lord of The Flies, Dracula, anything by Jules Verne, The Jungle Books, David Copperfield, The Odyssey... Mostly classic adventure books.

Outside of that, I like to bird-watch and go bike-riding. I love to write, and spend my spare time writing various short stories, working on my novel, and in extremely rare cases fanfiction, which I usually find to be like very unhealthy candy for the brain. I also like art, predictably.

And for manga, ANYTHING by Rumiko Takahashi, especially Inu-Yasha and Mermaid Saga. And Ranma 1/2. And Maison Ikkoku. And all of her short stories...

As for favorite pairings and that sort of thing...

Naraku/Kikyo (it OOZES angst! Only pairing I'd ever read a lemon for)

Naraku/Kagome (not as good as NarKik, simply because it's sowrong, but... makes a good substitute)

Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke (this love triangle makes me feel fuzzy)

Sesshoumaru/Kagura (I wouldn't read fanfics of it, but hey, it's a canon Sesshoumaru pairing!)

Raven/Reese (from Zoids. They're my two favorite characters, what can I say?)

Excel/Il Palazzo (from Excel Saga. Okay, it's more idolization than adoration, but it's cute)

Aoshi/Misao (from Rurouni Kenshin. Kinda like Sessh/Rin, only makes a little more sense to me.)
