Now a writer for TAMNI and Persona in focus, I'm also contemplating concepts for digimon.
I think I really am better suited to writing one-shots as opposed to large epic stories that span a whole novel. Either that or I hold the whole story before writing them out. It's really difficult to retain the original spirit of the story with someone of a mentality as I do. I write depending on my mood and that's something that should never be done. It's not so much that I can't write when not in the mood but the words and the way they flow won't be the same as how the story should be delivered. Likely the same reason I tend to quit works as soon as I start them. Because I have this vanity of not wanting to corrupt my own ideas with my own hands.
