Author has written 17 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender.
If you have or are about to read my stories - thank you! I write fic to stretch the ol' writing muscles and apply the techniques I get right to my original fiction. If you want to know a little more about me, read on.
Lady or Gent: Lady
Country of Origin: Australia
Occupation: Farmer/business owner/admin worker (in other words: never ending jobs. Like ever. Do you think ewes have their lambs on a 9-5 schedule? I'm here to tell you they do not.)
Writing: I like to write fic for a couple of reasons. One, I think its a great way to sharpen your writing if you want to write OG fiction for publication. Reviews and comments are a great way to get instant feedback on your work. Two, you don't need to character or world build when writing fic - people already know the crew and the setting for the most part which frees you up for hella fun storytelling shenanigans. Three, if you procrastinate writing your OG fiction with other writing... well, you're still flexing the writing muscle.
Philosophy: Everyone has their own unique way to do their thing. Find your thing. Be your thing.
The Family Jewels Mini-Series - Twice Scarred is one half of a two-part drabble series written by myself and misszeldasayre. The drabbles cover that brilliant scene from The Winter Solstice Part 1 episode where Zuko comes across Iroh in the hot springs... Mine is from Zuko's point of view, while misszeldasayre’s covers Iroh's. You can find the links to both halves below:
The Finding of Druk Series
The Grey Beach Series
A series of vignettes that track Iroh's influence on his nephew over the course of Zuko's life. These can be read in the linear order below, or in any random order you like! Enjoy!
