[What it Means (story info)]

This fic was originally written before 2019, so it is a bit outdated. I did change a few things about the original storyline that may jar a few of the newcomers. For one, the power scaling is a little different. Specifically speaking, the Sea King is considerably stronger than in the original source material as you will soon see. Different power scaling may be a recurring theme throughout. I say this now to avoid any confusion. I have also finally caught up with the manga in preparation of my continuance. I will definitely be incorporating a few elements from where the original story is now into future chapters, so if you haven't caught up... I don't know, maybe don't read beyond chapter 11 until you do.

I originally gave this story to another author on here, but for whatever reason, they didn't continue it.

Chapters may not always be frequent, but I promise you they will be worth it. For starters, I feel I've improved immensely in my grammar and technical writing ability. So, hopefully, everything reads a little better this time around.

Also, the chapters I already have written might be drastically altered. So, if you're an older reader returning to this fic, it is definitely worth another read.

Honestly, I would have left this story to die had it not been for some of the comments I read during my break. I am so glad so many of you enjoyed what you've seen thus far, and I truly hope to impress you with what's coming next. As for the new readers, I welcome you all, and thank you for reading!

I don't plan on continuing/updating either. I'll leave them up for anyone who enjoys them or would like to adopt them, but I'm pretty much done with both.

Now... this one... lol! This is still arguably my most popular story, and lots of people seem to love it, but I wrote it back in high school... After all these years, I went back and read it, and I could not be more embarrassed haha! So, that being said, I'm already in the process of completely rewriting it! So, if you enjoyed that story and would like to read something similar (yet shockingly better) stick around and see what I can do with that concept today!
(though, I should say that I plan on writing version 2 out completely before I post it. So, it'll be a bulk upload of all the chapters.)

Well... I didn't plan on returning to this one, but I did enjoy my reread, and it was probably my favorite fanfiction to work on, back in the day, so... I might just start to polish that in my downtime, as well. Though, I can't promise any sort of consistent updates on that. It's a complete mess grammatically.
